  • Patent number: 7406752
Abstract: A stretching device for filiform elements comprises a main body member (1) having ends, with one of the ends having a connection opening (2) and the opposite end of the plate member having a rotating mounting opening (3) in the rotating mounting opening there is a rotating part (6) having a command head (11) which forms a winding reel (7) for the wire to be stretched; mounted on the main body (1) is a slide mobile cramp (12). The winding to stretch the element is done by turning the command head (11). Once the suitable stretching has been achieved, the slide mobile cramp (12) is slided until said command head (11) is introduced into the cramp recess (15) formed by the cramp fork (14). Under these conditions, the rotating part (6) is fixed, keeping the tension on the filiform element.

  • Patent number: 7247045
Abstract: The modular connection assembly comprises a connector (4) made of insulating material, a conductor connecting bridge (10) and a fixing and contact member (9); the connector (4) has side socket members (5) to relate to similar units (4) and it also includes passages (6)(7)(8) for cables (3), for bridges (10) and for fixing members (9); the bridge (10) includes modular sections (10a) and threaded holes (10b) for the fixing member (9); which are screws ending in contact ends (9a) able to perforate the sheath (3a) of the conductor cable (3) and contact it. The side socket member (5) allow the group of several connectors (4) integrated in a modular connection set. The conductor cables (3) are inserted into the first passage (6) of the connectors (4). The bridges (10), after cutting and separating the unnecessary modular sections (10a), are inserted into the second passage (7) of the connectors (4).

  • Patent number: 7237947
Abstract: A temperature-indicating target length (15) of an expanding fluid thermometer (11) imbedded inside an object (91) moving in the flow (81) is achieved at a target point (21) along a flow and is measured by a measuring means at a location outside of the flow; where the measuring means can be radiating energy (31) projecting an image (32) of the target length outside the flow, and the measuring means can be causing the fluid length to be locked at the target length, removing the object from the flow, and measuring the target length outside the flow.

  • Patent number: 7229102
Abstract: A coolant union includes a seal assembly having a first seal member and a non-rotating second seal member. At least one of the annular sealing surfaces presented by the rotating seal member and the non-rotating seal member is chamfered such that the chamfered sealing surface presents a sealing surface width less than the width of the dimension of the other sealing surface. The fluid coolant union further includes a U-shaped annular secondary seal member having a chamfered portion structurally arranged to receive a triangular back-up ring which stores sufficient relative displacement of the floating seal assembly to create a separation between the first rotating seal and the second non-rotating seal members during the unpressurized condition.
