Abstract: A method for re-mobilizing superabsorbent polymer particles which have previously been immobilized by a solidified thermoplastic composition comprising at least 30 weight-% of a thermoplastic polymer. The superabsorbent polymer particles are separated from the solidified thermoplastic composition by using a supercritical fluid comprising carbon dioxide, propane, or mixtures thereof. Separation may be further improved by the use of one or more co-solvents.

Abstract: A tab and slot closure system has a tab member, a slot member, and an anti-pop open device. The tab member has a tab element which has a first region and a second region. The first region includes a proximal edge, and the second region includes a distal edge. The tab element is attached to the substrate element along a line of attachment. The slot member has an inboard portion, an outboard portion, and a slot disposed between the inboard portion and the outboard portion. The anti-pop open device is disposed on either the tab member or the slot member and reduces the likelihood of the tab member unintentionally disengaging the slot member when the tab and slot closure system is fastened.

Abstract: A stretch laminate includes a first layer including an elastomer film, the first layer having a surface, and a second layer including a nonwoven material, the second layer having a basis weight of less than about 25 gsm and a surface that is attached to the surface of the first layer. The elastomer film has a strength of an engineering tensile strength, at an engineering strain rate of about 600/s, of at least one of about greater than about 14 MPa for a plain specimen or about greater than about 7 MPa for a notched specimen. A method of making the stretch laminate and an absorbent article having at least one region defined by the stretch laminate are also provided.
Abstract: A method, in a computer-based online system having a memory, for managing an account for purchasing baby care products by a particular user, wherein the account is for use with a particular category of baby care products, including diapers.

Abstract: A disposable absorbent article is provided. The article comprises one or more disposable absorbent articles having a configuration corresponding to a wearer's stage of development, the disposable absorbent articles being enclosed in a package; a brand indicator disposed on the package; a line-up indicator disposed on the package, the line-up indicator including visual indicia and narrative indicia; and a stage specific indicator disposed on the package. The line-up indicator and stage specific indicator associate the absorbent article configuration with a corresponding stage of development, the association enabling a consumer to identify the appropriate absorbent article configuration for a wearer. An array of disposable absorbent article configurations is also provided.
Abstract: An absorbent article comprising an absorbent core, which comprises a primary water-absorbing agent that can serve as a acquisition and preferably temporarily storage material for fluids, such as urine, and that has a CRC of up to 20 g/g and that comprises a compound that includes a constitutional unit derived from polyalkyleneglycol and that is other than an unsaturated monomer and that comprises a polyvalent metal salt. The absorbent article is preferably an infant (toddler, baby) diaper, including training pant, or adult incontinent article (e.g. a pad, diaper).
Abstract: A paper-roll core that is a soluble, disposable carrier for cleaning and/or disinfecting chemicals. The paper-roll cores are toilet paper roll cores and paper towel roll cores and are rapidly soluble in water and may release cleansers, disinfectants, colors, etc., upon dissolving. Described are: methods of using, manufacturing, advertising, and distributing the paper-roll cores; and methods of advertising and distributing such paper-roll cores to children, who will particularly enjoy the novelty; and methods of modifying existing paper-roll core manufacturing equipment to manufacture soluble cleanser-dispensing paper-roll cores.
