Abstract: A composition for crosslinking olefin polymers including an olefinically unsaturated alkoxysilane, a free radical generator, and an organic hindered amine light stabilizer compound, together with a process for crosslinking olefin polymers comprising blending said composition with an olefinic polymer, allowing the silane to graft to the polymer, and causing the grafted polymer to crosslink, preferably by subjecting it to moisture in the presence of a hydrolysis/condensation catalyst.
Abstract: The present invention discloses high viscosity surfactants which may be used, when diluted to a viscosity below 2500 cP at 25.degree. C., as surfactants for the production of polyuretahne foam. Specifically, the surfactants of the present invention have the generalized average formula M*D.sub.x D".sub.y M* whereinM* is (CH.sub.3).sub.3 SiO.sub.1/2 or R(CH.sub.3).sub.2 SiO.sub.1/2 ;M" is R(CH.sub.3).sub.2 SiO.sub.1/2 ;D is (CH.sub.3).sub.2 SIO.sub.2/2 ;D" is (CH.sub.3)(R)SiO.sub.2/2 ;x is 81-220, y is 8-40 and D/(D"+M").ltoreq.10;R is a polyether-containing substituent derived from a blend of C.sub.n H.sub.2n -started polyethers selected from two different groups such that the average molecular mass is 1100-1800.
