Abstract: An invalid mobile cart with enclosure (10) having a cart (12) which has a cart top (12T), cart bottom (12A), cart left (12L), cart right (12R), cart front (12F), cart back (12B), at least one cart front wheel, cart rear right wheel (12DRR) and cart rear left wheel (not shown) rotatably and extending downwardly from the cart bottom (12A). At least one wheel is connected to a motor (not shown). A transparent or translucent enclosure (14) is securely mounted on the cart top (12T). The enclosure (14) has an enclosure housing (14A) having a enclosure left door (14L) and enclosure right door (14R) hingeably connected thereto. A steering/control (16) means is positioned on the cart top (12T) at the cart front (12F). The steering/control (16) has a steering/control wheel (16A) connected to a steering/control column (16B) which is connected to the at least one cart front wheel and the motor. A support (18) positioned on the cart top (12T) at the cart back (12B).

The bridge containment system (10) farther comprises least two chains (16) interwoven and slidably mounted onto the plurality of vertically positioned cables (12), a first chain (16A) is interwoven and slidably mounted onto the first cable (12A) and a second chain (16B) is interwoven and slidably mounted onto the second cable (12B). The bridge containment system (10) further comprises at least one fence (18) is securely attached along a first distal edge to the first chain (16A) and securely attached along an opposite distal edge to the second chain (16B), when the first cable (12A) and the second cable (12B) are raised and lowered, the at least one fence (18) is concurrently raised and lowered functioning to contain falling debris.

Abstract: A window support system for a bay or bow window to be installed on a home or other building wherein the system is secured to the head board and seat board of the unit and wherein the system comprises a vertically extending hollow pipe or solid rod disposed between inner and outer panes of glass which is secured in place by means of standard fastening devices both to the head board and seat board and wherein a turnbuckle is disposed between two threaded rods and at an angle of preferably 221/2 or 45 degrees from the head board. A standard pipe elbow is employed between the vertically extending rod or tool and the threaded rod to maintain the angle to the head board. An eye bolt is affixed to the existing house header and a second threaded rod having a hook on one end, distant from the turnbuckle, for cooperation with the eye bolt. Upon installation of the window the turnbuckle can therefore be rotated in either direction to properly level and secure the window to the house.

Abstract: A bi-stable clutch is introduced comprising an input and output shaft, a hub assembly attached to output shaft, a hub assembly attached to output shaft and operatively associated with a friction ring which rotates with output shaft of the unique bi-stable clutch. The input shaft is connected to a rotor which drives an armature plate to which the rotor is rotatably attached. The rotor and armature plate are forced apart when the clutch is engaged creating an air gap between the two large enough to not be overcome by the permanent magnet field attracting the armature plate due to a force caused by compression coil springs and the armature plate remains in contact with the rotor and the clutch remains engaged without continuous current transmitting torque from the input to the output shaft.

Abstract: A novel and unique drum anchor using a female velcro base taped to the floor to which is anchored a male velcro. The male velcro is part of an assembly using a screw assembly which simply attaches to the bass drum to be held in place on the front and along each side of the drum on two positions with the use of a swivel strap to hold the entire unit in place.

Abstract: An improved hydraulic accumulator is introduced wherein a valve mechanism is used to seal a hydraulic fluid before the pressure charged piston reaches the end of the accumulator to minimize the loss of compressed gas by eliminating the pressure differential when the piston is fully extended, thereby prolonging the fatigue life of the accumulator vessel. Reduction of the pressure loading on the vessel will also prolong the life of the piston seals and metal bellows effectively extending the accumulator life and effectively allowing design for weight reduction and preservation of the integrity of the complete hydraulic or pneumatic system.

Abstract: Novel Sunscreen compositions are demonstrated which are either water dispersible or waterproof without the inclusion of PABA, PABA derivatives, oxybenzone (Benzophenone 3), and any auxilliary UV-B or UV-A screen be they water or oil soluble. This is done by the use of p-methoxy-2-ethyl-hexyl cinnamate (Parsol MCX) and 1-(4-methoxylphenyl)-3-(4 tert-butyl-phenyl) propan 1-3 dione (Parsol 1789) as the only absorbers present.The only common element in all the sunscreen composition demonstrated is the presence of the neopentanoate ester having the strutural formula ##STR1## which is used for emolliency; moisturization and increasing the SPF factors. The unusually high SPF factors are a result of these unique compositions.

Abstract: A pulsed brake drive for an electro-magnetic brake incorporating a permanent magnet which can be pulsed into either an on or off stable state wherein the brake is driven by a very short pulse depending on brake voltage. In the event of a failure of any one phase of the line the drive shuts off the motor and applies the brake. Further, if the power supply to the motor is off, the brake, which is normally on, can be released and then re-applied by a pushbutton. Power to drive the brake is battery supplied which in turn is kept fully charged at all times from main AC power. It is this unique circuitry and combination which introduces an energy efficient motor brake driven by a short pulse-not dependent on continuous voltage.

The golf chair for the handicapped introduced permits a handicapped person to sit and play golf by proper adjustment and manipulation of the seat on the chair to change height angle of his or her position on the seat to swing a golf club.

Abstract: Two specific diesters of neopentyl glycol used in varying combinations are introduced as replacements for mineral oil in cosmetic formulations which increases SPF of the formulations, are unusually safe even when used neat, have zero comedogenicity and mimic mineral oil in all of its good physical and chemical properties.

Abstract: A novel oil in water emulsion composition comprising of two alkoxylated esters and a neopentanoate ester in varied ratios to produce unique and unexpected properties in formulations. Water thin emulsions, deodorant milk emulsions, dry skin lotion and sunscreen emulsion with high unexpected SPF results are a direct result in the use of this emulsion system in the formulation.

Abstract: A novel use of two specific neopentyl glycol diesters as wetting, dispersing, spreading and deterging agents for micronized TiO.sub.2, ZnO and other pigments is introduced. These esters, neopentyl glycol di-2-ethyl hexanoate and neopentyl glycol di-isostearate, are used in varying combinations and may also be used with an emulsifying agent for a water dispersible pigmented make-up cleaner composition.

Abstract: This invention presents a new method of using a composition of monomethyl coconate esters with emulsifiers as a release compound causing black top, asphalt or other sticky materials that stick to a truck bed to slide and release from the surface of the truck. The composition is sprayed as a mixture on the truck bed with water in ratio of 1 part composition to 20-30 parts water with a hose of form a thin layer on a truck bed. The black top, asphalt or other sticky material is loaded and discharged and the mixture is washed away from a truck bed by hosing down the truck bed with water.

Abstract: This invention deals with a new method of using a degreasing composition to remove grease, oil and sticky substances coating a mechanical surface. The degreasing composition sprayed on the coating surfaces will adhere to the coating substances and be washed off with plain water sprayed from a hose, cleaning the mechanical surface effectively and efficiently.

Abstract: A unique electromagnetic brake which, when pulsed with a D.C. current, will latch and hold in either of two extreme positions; on position and off position. A continuous current is not necessary to maintain either position which eliminates power loss from a limited power supply and heat dissipation problems.

Abstract: This invention is concerned with the use of neopentanoate esters as novel cosmetic emollients for sunscreen products.The use of isoarachidyl neopentanoate in sunscreen formulations offer new and unexpected results over the use of similar esters previously disclosed.The isoarachidyl neopentanoate has a minimal odor, good stability, water white color, higher sun protection factor values, good emolliency, good crystal solibilization, very low freeze point. It forms the emollient basis for a new way to make very high sun protection factor products.

Abstract: A DC to DC sine/cosine positioning servo system has an electro-mechanical DC to AC converter. The latter includes a DC torquer, having a rotor with respective windings for receiving two DC input signals proportional to the error signals detected. Mechanial movement of the rotor is proportional to the relative values of the two input signals. The rotor of a synchro control transmitter is mechanically coupled to the rotor of the DC torquer. A reference oscillator is provided which produces an AC output voltage at a predetermined frequency. The oscillator output is connected to the rotor of the control transmitter. The stator windings of the control transmitter are connected to the stator windings of a control transformer. The rotor of the control transformer produces an output voltage directly proportional to the relative angle between the rotor of the control transformer and the stator windings.

Abstract: The present invention relates to protective end caps on rolled condoms.These protective end caps are designed to attach to rolled condoms to indicate the orientation, direction of unrolling, of the condoms. These protective end caps are then separated from the condoms after the unrolling of the condoms and placement on the male organ insuring that the outer surface of the condoms remains steril and uncontaminated while it is being placed on the male organ.

Abstract: An Air Treatment Unit providing a filtration system for removing ethylene oxide which comprises a blower unit for air intake (1), a top orifice (2) with a coil spring backing (3) attached to and having access to the front face of a coarse wire and fibrous filter element (4) behind which is a filter media made up of granular activated carbon impregnated with various metallic oxides of copper, silver and chrome in various proportions designed exclusively for the selective removal of ethylene oxide gases (5) and a bottom face with fine wire and a fibrous filter element (6) with an orifice to allow clean air out (8) these said faces being attached mechanically to enclose the filtering media in a leak-proof frame (7) with a circular glass viewer (9) to which is attached a gel which is color sensitive to ETO concentration of 0.3 ppm indicating replacement of the filter media (5).
