Abstract: An electrical test probe for a connector assembly includes an elongated contact, an elongated helical coil spring, and an elongated, electrically conductive tubular member disposed about the assembly of said elongated contact and elongated helical coil spring. The bottom portion of the tubular member includes a bullet-nosed portion which protects the spring and the contact during assembly of the electrical test probe in the connector assembly.

Abstract: A media enhancement system and method, the system including a media player structured to deliver a media selection to a user and an enhancement registry associated with the media selection and including time data and/or other data associated with the media selection and a communicative link to additional materials. A user interface is further provided and operatively associated with the media player to receive a user input during delivery of the media selection by the media player, the media player further structured to identify a corresponding time marker of the media selection at a time that corresponds receipt of the user input. Finally, an activation assembly is provided to access the enhancement registry and to correspondingly activate the communicative link for delivery of the additional materials to the user.

Abstract: A method and system for designing and affixing symbology, e.g., an identifier, into digital and printed images and using that symbology to link these images to a global computer network to allow the organization and processing of these images both while in digital form, and later when in printed form are provided. The method includes the steps of capturing an image with a digital image capture device and creating a digital image file; associating at least one identifier to the digital image file; and encoding the at least one identifier of the digital image file. The identifier includes a site location number (SLN), a customer identification number (CIN), a date the image was taken (DIT) and a picture sequence number (PSN). The identifier will be printed with the image and be used to retrieve the image at a later date and process user requests.

Abstract: A digital imaging device and method for embedding and retrieving of information in digital images are provided. The digital imaging device includes a capture module for capturing an image and creating a digital image file; a locational information module for determining a location of the device when capturing the image; and a processing module for associating the location information to the digital image file. The device further includes a user verification module for verifying an identity of a user of the device at a time of image capture and an encryption module for encrypting the digital image file and associated information. The method provides for securing information associated with the digital images and for verifying activities of a user.

Abstract: A digital imaging device and methods thereof that will enable the embedding and retrieving of information in digital images are provided. The digital imaging device includes a capture module for capturing an image and creating a digital image file; an input module for inputting information regarding the captured image; and a processing module for associating the inputted information to the digital image file. The device further includes a scanning module for reading a symbology associated with a printed digital image and wherein the processing module is adapted to use the symbology to retrieve the associated information of the digital image file. The device may be embodied as a digital camera, a mobile phone, personal digital assistant (PDA), etc.

Abstract: A bioreactor for culturing microorganisms which has a reactor vessel, a plurality of gas-introduction tubes and a gas-introduction system for introducing gas into a culture medium in the gas-introduction tubes via injectors, wherein the gas-introduction tubes are connected by their respective lower end, in the vertical direction, to the reactor vessel and by their opposite upper end to the upper end of an upright vessel which is likewise connected by its lower end to the reactor vessel, and at the upper end of the upright vessel an expansion vessel is arranged.

Abstract: Membrane holder for membrane adsorber chromatography comprising a housing body (12) with a reception space for at least one layer of adsorber membranes (22) and at least one first housing cap (34) for closing a first reception space opening, which can be fixed to the housing body (12), a liquid stream being introducible via first liquid guide means (36) through the first housing cap (34) and the first reception opening into the reception opening, so that it passes through the adsorber membranes (22) and flows away through a second reception space opening. The first housing cap (34) can be screwed as a first union nut onto the housing body (12) and a first brace element (24), which can be clamped between the first cap (34) and the housing body (12) via a flange (32) extending beyond the first reception space opening, can be fixed leaktightly in a basket-like insert (14) with a liquid-tight wall and a perforated bottom (18), which is used to receive the adsorber membranes (22).
