  • Patent number: 4917136
Abstract: This invention relates to the supply piping system of the process gas for various types of thin-film making and fine pattern dry etching process, and more particularly to the process gas supply system, which makes it possible to form high quality thin films and to perform high quality etching.Specifically, when there are a unit in operation with process gas supplied and a unit not in operation with no process gas supplied in a process gas supply piping system, supplying the process gas to two or more process units from a cylinder cabinet piping system, this invention provides a gas supply piping system, where the process gas supply piping line to the process unit not in operation can be purged with purge gas all the time and where gas flows all the time through all of gas supply piping lines to eliminate the stagnation of gas.

  • Patent number: 4909011
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a hollow section elongated structural member comprising three parallel spaced channel section elements (13) with three panels (11) extending between the respective pairs of elements to form a hollow section member. The edges of the panels have edge formations (17) which are received in the channels, each edge formation being shaped to conform to a side wall (15) and adjacent base part (14) of a channel. Clamping members (18) are provided for each channel having a clamping face including a main part (19) flanked by said faces (21) to act in co-operation with the base and side wall of the channel (13) to clamp the respective edge formations of a pair of panels therein and screws (23) are provided for securing the clamping members to the channel to lock the edge parts of the channels in the channels and thereby create a rigid structue between the channels and panels.

  • Patent number: 4909904
Abstract: A headbox features in the machine-wide suspension channel, following in the flow direction of the suspension, a tubular distributing grid, an equalization channel, a turbulence generator, and a nozzle. Connected to the suspension channel is a device for dispensation of diluting liquid into the suspension. The amount of diluting liquid is adjustable across the machine width in contingence on the position of the basis weight cross profile variation in the produced paper web. The diluting liquid is dispensed directly before a choking point of the turbulence generator, into the suspension channel, in order to thereby prevent hydraulic disturbances, specifically cross flows in the suspension flow in the nozzle.

  • Patent number: 4899433
Abstract: The method and apparatus for pickup of packets with a varying number of stamped laminations, for instance for stators of electrical machines, from a lamination stack (98) compressed under tension between clamping plates (24, 100) is so performed that the first packet half of laminations are always rotated by 180.degree. before the entire lamination packet is measured off and picked up. Therefore, two different stops (42, 44) are needed for measuring off the first half and then the entire lamination packet for each packet height. In order to dispense with the necessity of having to exchange, when changing the packet height, the one clamping plate which heretofore was designed with various stops, the lamination packets with a differing number of laminations are always mounted between the same clamping plates (24, 100) and supported together with the one clamping plate (24) on axially adjustable stops (42, 44). Consequently, the device features axially adjustable stop (42, 44).

  • Patent number: 4896524
Abstract: Arrangement for the ejection of a pressed component from a press tool. The arrangement consists of a number of ejection pins distributed over the press surface tool. Each of the ejection pins is so arranged as to lie during the pressing operation with its tip no higher than on a level with the aforementioned press surface, and, in conjunction with the opening of the tool after a pressing operation has been completed, as to eject the component from the tool with its tip. A characteristic feature of the invention is that each ejection pin is operatively connected via a pistion rod to a hydraulic piston. The piston is capable of axial displacement in a hydraulic cylinder, which is filled with an incompressible fluid in space between the piston and an end wall of the cylinder. The space communicates via a duct with a drive unit for the ejection pin.

  • Patent number: 4889213
Abstract: A safety device for an internal combustion engine powered implement and for disabling the operation of the internal combustion engine by means of a brake. The safety device includes a braking lever and a control lever which are both mounted on a single pivot member. Two springs are provided, the first of which normally urges the braking lever into contact with the flywheel of the internal combustion engine to prevent rotation thereof. The second spring biases the control lever into a rest position wherein the deadman control lever assumes its normal non-operated position and allows adjustment of control effort. The braking lever and control lever are mounted on the pivoting member by means of bushings to permit independent pivoting movement of the levers when the deadman lever is operated. The control lever contacts the braking lever by means of an abutment surface thereby rotating the braking lever out of contact with the flywheel and permitting the engine to operate.

  • Patent number: 4852249
Abstract: A process and device for the length trimming of cables from a cable supply for the processing of cable ends. The cable front end is inserted by a cable feed (20, 22) in a guide channel whose rear section is located in a swivel part (28). As the cable front end impinges on a stop (102) on the swivel part (28), said swivel part swings beyond a dead center which is defined by a spring (40) which is attached eccentrically, whereafter the swivel part (8) is swung around by the spring (40) essentially 180.degree. so that the cable front end bearing on the stop (102) points opposite to the feed direction. The cable loop formed is then enlarged to the desired length by continued cable feeding, whereafter the cable rear end is severed by a knife (82). By lowering the cable, the cable ends are transferred, accurately positioned, to holders (56) by means of which they can be transported to the processing stations.
