Abstract: A configuration for reading out disc management information easily without errors from a disc in which recording is conducted with data recording densities of a plurality of kinds. An optical disc includes a plurality of data recording areas in which information is recorded with data recording densities which are different from each other. Information of the data recording densities in the data recording areas is recorded in a management information recording area (a BCA area or a PIC area) by using a unique format which does not depend upon the data recording densities of the data recording areas. The divided data recording areas are disposed in the same plane of the disc, or disposed over a plurality of recording layers.
Abstract: It is possible to compatibly set multiple “dropout” color ranges and “non-dropout” color ranges and uniquely determine a dropout boundary. An object of the present invention is to greatly conserve maintenance cost of adding a new dropout form after apparatus operations. A conventional technology aims at assuring relation to a predetermined color region, determining the presence or absence of contention, or uniquely settling a dropout boundary. The present invention provides a means for supplying levels to a “dropout” color range and a “non-dropout” color range. A registered color range histogram can be quasi-three-dimensionally visualized so that an operator can make adjustment by viewing a contention determination result and an image.

Abstract: The manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display device includes a step of forming the scanning signal lines including a step in which a photosensitive material film is exposed using an exposure device having a spatial light modulating element which generates an exposure pattern by a numerical control based on drawing data prepared based on the layout data. The drawing data is prepared by correction such that a shape of a portion of the scanning signal line in the layout data which is overlapped to a source electrode has an area corresponding to the distribution of a film thickness of an insulation layer interposed between the scanning signal line and the source electrode.
Abstract: For a disc on which recording is to be performed at a plurality of recording densities, a technique for easily reading out disc management information without an error is disclosed. An optical disc (1) includes a plurality of data recording areas (103,104) for recording information at data recording densities different from each other. Information regarding the data recording densities of the data recording areas (103,104) is recorded in a management information recording area (BCA area (101) or PIC area (102)) in a specific format that does not depend on the data recording densities of the data recording areas (103,104). Abstract: A design cover attachment structure is provided configured to facilitate an attachment/removal of a design cover composed of a plurality of decorative plates. Abstract: An output buffer includes inverters, a delay circuit for delaying an input signal, buffers and switches. The output buffer transmits a logic signal to a transmission path and, in accordance with an amount of signal attenuation in the transmission path, creates a waveform including four or more kinds of signal voltages. The buffers are redundantly connected in parallel, and the number of buffers concurrently turn ON is controlled by respective switches provided in series with output resistors of the buffers. By selecting the buffers of switches which are turned ON, the preemphasis amount and a number of preemphasis taps are adjusted through a selector logic selection signal so that the preemphasis amount is made variable and the ON resistance of the buffers is made constant.

Abstract: The present invention provides a manufacturing method for accurate, fine and efficient processing of a work piece to be processed and prevention of graphitization of the work piece to be processed, when sintered diamond is processed by a laser beam.
