  • Patent number: 6168535
Abstract: A method of making a truly balanced golf putter that is normally swung in a parabolic path during the execution of a putting stroke. The putter shaft is attached to a golf putter head. The exact center of gravity of the putter head is determined and the golf putter is dynamically swung in a parabolic path. The amount of rotation of the putter head is determined relative to a straight line along the parabolic path and the putter head and putter shaft are adjusted relative to each other by rotating the shaft with respect to the putter head until a perfect balance is achieved.

  • Patent number: 6135475
Abstract: A collapsible wheelchair is disclosed. The wheelchair includes a first wheel and a second wheel secured on opposites sides of a central support frame designed to support a seat member. The first wheel and the second wheel define a space within the circumference of each wheel. The central support frame includes a first frame member connected to the first wheel such that the first frame member may selectively move relative to the first wheel and a second frame member connected to the second wheel such that the second frame member selectively moves relative to the second wheel. A connecting member connects the first frame member to the second frame member in a manner permitting the first frame member and the second frame member to be selectively moved toward and away from each other, thereby, permitting the collapse of the wheelchair. The wheelchair further includes at least one guide wheel coupled to the central support frame for supporting the wheelchair.

  • Patent number: 6131521
Abstract: A modular worktop, and method of assembly, including a surface member, a front edge, and a backsplash, the components preferably being removably attached to each other. Each of the surface member, front edge, and backsplash may be selected from a predetermined group of decorative surfacing options, resulting in a worktop that is aesthetically pleasing to the consumer or person selecting the components. Additionally, each of the components is sized and configured so as to bring assembly and installation within the skill range of the average consumer. Because the front edge is removably attached, the front edge is changeable at the discretion of the consumer, for example, for aesthetic reasons.

  • Patent number: 6106411
Abstract: The present invention relates to still another improvement in golf club design. In accordance with the present invention, the laws of statics and dynamics are applied to create a precisely and efficiently balanced gold club head. The golf club of the present invention is constructed so that the moment generated at the center of mass of the entire club is essentially equal to the moment at the club head. This is accomplished by analyzing and adjusting the mass distribution within the golf club to move the relative positioning of the moment of the center of mass closer to the moment of the center of percussion on the club head. The invention thereby relates to the design and manufacture of a golf club, and a golf club set, which provides more positive power and control in the club head by applying superior physical characteristics in the construction of the golf club within the standards established by traditional golf club guide lines and the rules of golf.
