Abstract: An engine powering device with magnetic components that aid in the operation of piston propelled engines by attaching the device individually to the pistons, causing the pistons to perform the up and down thrusts without the use of fuel combustion thereby mobilizing the engine, eliminating the necessity of fuel and preventing pollution exhausting into the atmosphere. An exemplary system for a magnetically controlled propelled engine that uses exhausted clean air from the engine that flows through an electric generating turbo or turbine to charge the battery to power the engine. Passenger compartment comfort heating is supplied by and electric liquid boiler or liquid heater with a circulation pump. A fuel door mounted universal electrical connector to aid in charging engine battery. This engine has magnetic shielding safety components to protect people and other electronic devices from strong rare earth magnets and electromagnets.
Abstract: An audio speaker comprises three modules stacked on one another to form a tower. The bottom module generates a magneto-strictive output that is coupled to the structure on which the bottom module stands to cause audio signal radiation from that structure. The top module has an upwardly facing cone speaker that radiates audio signals primarily in the upper audio frequency range. These two audio signal radiations combine to provide a more comprehensive frequency range signal than is normally obtained at the small size of the tower. An intermediate module plays media such as an audio card. The modules are releasably held together by embedded magnets in the adjacent facing surfaces of the modules. Signal information is transmitted between modules by terminals on adjacent facing surfaces. The upwardly facing surface has a set of recessed spring loaded upwardly extending terminals. The mating terminals on the downwardly facing surface are flush with the surface contact terminals.

Abstract: A table top ball game that enables two or more people to play a variety of ball sports. Games are based on foosball/soccer table games and use similar controls, skills and operations to those already in existence. The stadium games enhance the game experience by adding features that are present in real games and by resembling the shape and imitating the images, sounds and atmosphere of a real stadium. Another aspect of the present invention provides a protective volume around the distal ends of the user operated control rods with a plurality of player figure mounted thereon. A further aspect of the present invention provides a plurality of means for eliminating dead spots on a playing surface while providing an improvement of the game.
Abstract: A hull (1) for a marine vessel (10) comprising an elongate body (2) that tapers outwardly from a foremost location, the bow (3), and tapers inwardly toward the aft (4) such that the aft (4) of the body (2) is significantly reduced in profile with respect to a point in the hull at which the inward taper commences.

Abstract: Novel hair holding devices having first and second pivotally connected body members including hair gripping portions, and methods for improving existing such hair holding devices, in which the improvement involves providing the first and second body members with at least one elastomeric member for biasing the first and second body members into a closed position and for conforming to gathered strands of a user's hair when the hair gripping portions come into contact with gathered strands of a user's hair.
Abstract: A system and method including a wand-type ultraviolet (UV) light assembly positioned above a keyboard and other computer peripheral device(s) to be sanitized. The UV light assembly is preferably moved across the peripheral device surface to eliminate nearly all germs, bacteria, viruses, pathogens and other microorganisms that have accumulated on the surfaces of the keyboard and other peripherals. Desirably, the system operation is managed by a controller device which is in communication with a host computer. In addition, the system allows for the collection and analysis of system performance data. The invention provides an extremely effective, compact, virtually cost-free and environmentally-friendly solution to disinfecting surfaces of keyboards and other peripheral devices.
Abstract: A thin athletic band which is economical to manufacture yet provides considerable impact protection coupled with effective perspiration removal.
