  • Patent number: 8339784
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a cage for thermal management and housing an electric module comprising a cage housing and having a top, bottom and side walls joined to form an interior cavity and the side walls defining a width of the interior cavity. The top wall may have an air inlet port and an air outlet port and the air inlet and outlet ports spaced apart by a length. The length may be most or all of the width, so that air entering the inlet port will travel over a portion of a side of an electronic module mounted in the cavity prior to exiting the outlet port.

  • Patent number: 8335088
Abstract: A retractable locking mechanism comprising a lever having a handle end opposite a rotation end and a pivot point positioned between the handle end and the rotation end such that the lever pivots about an axis of rotation of the lever; a first cam positioned on the rotation end of the lever; an actuator with a front end and a back end, the front end attached to the pivot point of the lever; a lock disposed adjacent to the actuator and the lock having a first end and a second end and an axis of rotation of the lock and wherein pivoting the lever moves the actuator along a plane of the actuator to contact and rotate the lock in one of a locked state and an unlocked state.

  • Patent number: 8323119
Abstract: A tee-off golfing mat which includes an upper layer and which positions the upper layer on a distance D from a reference layer. The upper layer of the golfing mat provides a platform for teeing-off a golfing ball. At least a part of the upper layer, when exerting a force on the mat during teeing-off, is resilient in height direction of the golfing mat. The resiliency of the golfing mat is caused by magnetic forces.

  • Patent number: 8034428
Abstract: The present invention relates to a reinforced sandwich structure (10) comprising stacked in height direction thereof, at least one top layer (2) and at least one bottom layer (3) comprising a fibrous reinforcing material, which top and bottom layer sandwich between them at least one core (1) of a foamed material, the sandwich structure being impregnated with a resin material. The at least one core material comprises at least one insert (9) which extends in height direction of the reinforced sandwich structure (10) over at least part of the height thereof and in at least one of the longitudinal and transversal direction thereof. The at least one top layer (2), the at least one bottom layer (3) and the at least one core material which comprise the at least one insert are connected to each other by means of reinforcing fibers, at least part of which extend in height direction of the sandwich structure.

  • Patent number: 6622056
Abstract: A method and system for determining a filtrate (FQCL) for a product on a current level in a supply chain or network A market tank balance (MTBCL) is determined for the product in the supply chain the filtrate quantity for the product is determined by calculating the difference between the market tank balance (MTBCL) and a preferred balance (PBCL) of products in the market tank, and if the filtrate quantity is lower than a predetermined threshold, the filtrate quantity is increased on the current level by increasing the delivery of the product to the market tank, or increasing the production, or decreasing the delivery of the product from the market tank. If the filtrate quantity is higher than a predetermined threshold, the filtrate quantiy is reduced by reducing the delivery of the product to the market tank, or by reducing the production, or by increasing the outflow from the market tank.
