Abstract: An adjustable recoil reducing shooting rest disclosed. The shooting rest may be adjusted to absorb differing amounts of recoil from various rifles to prevent rifle bounce that may add to aim inaccuracy. The user may also adjust both the horizontal and vertical aim of the rifle to consistently aim at the same location after multiple shots. The shooting rest may be secured to an unmodified support surface, and the rest consistently supports the butt stock of the rifle regardless of the vertical angle of the rest.
Abstract: A temperature regulation apparatus includes a dry ice module that encloses dry ice so that the module's outside surface is not hazardous to touch. Insulation, breathable material, or a combination of insulating and breathable materials, allows dry ice sublimation at a sufficiently slow rate within the attached dry ice module to control the ambient temperature in the area to be cooled. The dry ice module can be attached in a location that maximizes the dry ice cooling properties, typically at or near the top of the area to be cooled. Since sublimated carbon dioxide is heavier than normal air, it falls to the bottom of the area to be cooled and builds up. The venting placement in the dry ice module is based upon the make up of the dry ice module and the breathable materials inside of it.
Abstract: An apparatus for performing grounds maintenance functions and dispensing a fluid includes a grounds maintenance device and a fluid spraying device. The spraying device includes a container mounted on the grounds maintenance device for holding the fluid, and a spraying member in communication with the container for spraying the fluid. The spraying member is moveable from a carrying position in which the spraying member is carried on the grounds maintenance device to a spraying position in which the spraying member is moveable independent of the grounds maintenance device.
Abstract: An apparatus for carrying a plurality of spherical objects such as billiard balls can include a rectangular frame defining an interior area for receiving the billiard balls, in which at least some of the balls contact an inner surface of the frame, and an engaging section connected to the frame and positioned within the interior area of the frame between two opposed sides of the frame. The engaging section can move between a release position in which the billiard balls can be placed into and removed from the frame, and an engage position in which the engaging section frictionally engages some of the balls, and the balls are maintained within the frame such that they are carried by the frame and can be transported therein.
Abstract: A drying agent particularly suited for facilitating the drying of inks and paints includes a cobalt drier that is more than six percent cobalt by weight, and no more than fourteen percent cobalt by weight. In particular, the cobalt drier is twelve percent cobalt by weight. The drying agent can also include a manganese drier, tung oil, a water-activated drier, a two-way drier, and a lithographic overprint varnish. All ingredients can be present in the mixture at a concentration of one part by weight. The drying agent can be used with a variety of printing stock substrates, and may be used at significantly higher concentrations than prior art drying agents.
Abstract: A tensioning tool for applying tension to string-like material includes a first member having a first handle section and a first engaging section opposite the handle section facing a first direction for receiving and engaging a first strand. A second member is pivotally connected to the first member and has a second handle section and a second engaging section opposite the second handle section. The second engaging section faces a second direction opposite the first direction for receiving and engaging a second strand, and moving the handle sections of the first and second members towards each other urges the first and second engaging sections apart. The first strand can be attached to the second strand so that when the first and second handle sections are moved toward each other the first and second engaging sections move away from each other thereby tensioning the first strand.
Abstract: An apparatus for reducing static electricity includes an ionizer that generates ions for neutralizing static electricity, a blower that produces a current of air for moving the ions to a desired location, and a motion detector operatively connected to the blower. Upon detecting motion, the motion detector activates the blower, which disperses ions to reduce static electricity at the desired location. The apparatus can include a heater for heating the current of ionized air. In addition, the motion detector can be operatively linked to the ionizer and heater so that they are also activated upon detection of motion. The blower can be linked to a timer such that it runs for a predetermined amount of time upon activation by the motion detector, or the blower can run continuously until the motion detector no longer detects any motion. The apparatus is particularly useful for reducing static electricity around fuel dispensers.

Abstract: A disposable diaper changing pad for positioning on a supporting structure such as a diaper changing table provides a barrier between the diaper changing table and a child positioned on the top surface of the pad. The changing pad includes a liquid absorbent material and a latent elasticity formed in the pad proximate a peripheral edge of the pad. The pad can be stretched over a top surface of the table and contract against the table so that the pad maintains complete coverage over the top surface of the changing table. The latent elasticity can be provided by an elastic band positioned within the pad.

Abstract: A cigarette holding and dispensing apparatus includes a housing having a first and second dividing wall therein such that first, second and third compartment are defined within the housing. The first dividing wall has a vertical slot therein and into the first and third compartments. A covering is removably positioned on the housing. The covering has an aperture therein extending into the third compartment and an opening extending into said second compartment. A lighter may be positioned in the second compartment and a plurality of cigarettes may be positioned in the third compartment. An actuating assembly is mounted in the first compartment and extends into the third compartment through the first vertical slot for selectively lifting a cigarette upwardly through the aperture in the covering.
