Abstract: This disclosure is directed to a capsule construction for dispensing an ultra dense composite dental restorative material by a syringing technique wherein the capsules include a body portion defining a reservoir having an internal diameter (D) and a connected nozzle angularly disposed relative to the axis of the body portion and having a passageway terminating in a discharge orifice. The nozzle passageway and discharge orifice have an internal diameter (d) so that the ratio of diameters {fraction (d/D)} is equal to 1 or slightly less than 1. Bi-directional pistons are provided for extruding the ultra dense material from the capsule. Also, the internal surfaces of the capsules may be coated with lubricating liquid compatible to the ultra dense composite material to be dispensed thereby, and a removable sealing member for sealing the discharge orifice.
