Abstract: A single package wall mounted HVAC unit comprising a cabinet assembly including a primary cabinet subassembly, a back panel subassembly adapted to close the open back of the back panel subassembly, and cabinet connection means for removably attaching the primary cabinet subassembly to the back panel subassembly so that the back panel subassembly can be attached to the wall of a structure and then the primary cabinet subassembly can be positioned on and attached to the back panel subassembly. Also disclosed is a blower mounting arrangement for selectively mounting the air circulation blower within the cabinet subassembly in different positions to attenuate the blower noise transmitted to the conditioned space. An interlock is disclosed for the control box to prevent the control box cover from being removed without disconnecting the HVAC unit from the power supply.

Abstract: Apparatus for harvesting the feet from poultry foot and leg parts including positioning means for positioning the a known feature of the foot and leg part at a prescribed location and severing means for severing the leg of the foot and leg part at a prescribed distance from said prescribed location to recover the foot.
Abstract: A process of purifying crystalline quartz to remove impurities within the lattice structure comprising the steps of heating the quartz to the tridymite polymorphic form and evaporatively reacting the heated quartz with an aqueous acid solution reactive with the impurities in the quartz to form water soluble metal salts. The residue of the evaporative reaction is washed with water to dissolve the metal salts leaving purified crystalline quartz. The disclosure also includes the product of the process.

Abstract: An escape ladder and housing assembly adapted to be attached to the framework in the wall of a structure below an escape opening comprising a housing, a ladder construction adapted to be stowed within the housing, and a connection assembly mounted in the housing connected to the ladder construction so that, when the ladder construction is deployed through the escape opening, loads on the ladder are transmitted to the housing and the wall framework.
Abstract: A method of and apparatus for sealing access openings into blood vessels using an expandable member in the blood vessel on a control member that extends out through the access opening and an applicator which inserts a preformed sealing material into the access opening over the control member to keep the control member and expandable member centered in the access opening and withdrawing the collapsed expandable member back through the sealing material after the access opening is sealed.

Abstract: A rack system utilizing a structural beam comprises an elongate central web section with a pair of spaced apart, elongate first leg sections integral with opposite side edges of the central web section to form a generally C-shaped cross-sectional shape; and, an elongate second leg section integral with the central web section on that side opposite the first leg sections and positioned intermediate the height of the central web section to support a decking member flush with the top of the structural beam.
Abstract: An external circuit that works in conjunction with the existing tank thermostatic controls to control both a water heating heat pump and the existing resistance elements in a water heater. The existing resistance elements are disabled to allow the heat pump to heat the water unless a large volume of hot water is quickly withdrawn whereupon the upper resistance element is re-enabled to heat the water for a faster recovery rate.
Abstract: A method of repairing a blood vessel having a narrowed portion therein comprising the steps of expanding the narrowed portion of the blood vessel so that the diameter of the blood vessel after expansion is enlarged; and then maintaining an electronegative potential on the interior surface of the expanded narrowed portion of the blood vessel to at least as great as any electropositive potential generated by the blood vessel as a result of the injury to the blood vessel caused by the expansion thereof.
Abstract: A vehicle information storage system for all vehicle electronic sensors comprising a condition monitoring subsystem(7) and a storage subsystem(9). The condition monitoring subsystem(7) comprises, display(30), warning lamps(32), and a central processing unit(24) with a microprocessor and memory. The storage subsystem(9) comprising a central data processor(31) with a plurality of storage devices(16) one for each of a plurality sensor inputs(11), a plurality of remote receiving units(10), and a data routing unit(14). All the sensor inputs in the storage subsystem(7) are connected to the central data processor(31) over a single wire with the centrally located data routing unit(14) and the plurality of remote receiving units(10). Each sensor input(11) is monitored according to the information content of the associated sensor data as determined by prior analysis.
Abstract: A system for controlling the shaping fluid pressure in tire bladders in a tire molding press which senses the fluid pressure in the bladder used to shape the tire being loaded into the tire press; compares the sensed fluid pressure in the bladder with the desired set point fluid pressure to be maintained in the bladder; and adjusts the fluid pressure in the bladder in response to the compared pressures to cause the fluid pressure in the bladder to be maintained at the desired set point fluid pressure.
