Abstract: A pallet frame for storing and transporting a plurality of material handling totes. The pallet frame includes a plurality of pairs of back-to-back spaced vertically aligned support rails carried centrally on a frame which provides for forklift transfer and stackability. Support rails are constructed and arranged to hold a plurality of variably sized material handling totes cantilevered from the support rails.
Abstract: A material handling tote adapted for multiple storage and handling techniques. The tote includes a bottom, side and end walls and a substantially continuous multi-purpose flange at the upper edge of the side and end walls. The multi-purpose flange is constructed and arranged to releasably retain a lid, provide for stackability, include carrying grips and facilitate cantilevered hanging and retentive glide storage.

Abstract: A system for heating wire during a wire drawing process which comprises one or more cylindrical silicon carbide tubes each having an aperture in the side wall thereof. A flame projecting burner is situated adjacent the aperture in the side wall of each tube for projecting a flame through the aperture onto a wire passing through the cylindrical tube. The arrangement causes the wire to be heated by direct impingement of the flame onto the wire, residual flame and hot gases redirected by the cylindrical tube longitudinally of the wire and radiant heat from the cylindrical silicon carbide tube.
Abstract: A material handling cart for storing and transporting one or more material handling totes of various sizes. The cart includes a plurality of vertically spaced horizontal support rails interconnecting a pair of frames having casters at the base thereof and curved handle portions rearward of the horizontal support rails.
Abstract: A method for quickly, efficiently and accurately aiming a flood light at a preselected location which involves directing or redirecting the collimated radiative output of a low power laser source at a preselected location. The laser output may be aimed at a mirror on the flood light face and reflected directly back to the preselected location or the laser can be temporarily mounted to the flood light and the laser output directed parallel to the flood light beam axis at said preselected location.

Abstract: A tote guide operable in pairs to support a material handling tote beneath a desk, table or the like. Each tote guide includes an elongated tote receiving channel and means to inhibit removal of the tote from the channel without tilting of the tote. The tote guide is adapted to be mounted to the underside of a work surface or to a work surface vertical support.
Abstract: An air flow floor panel for a raised access floor system which includes an articulated frame surrounding a light weight grid component in egg-crate form. A laminated top plate having a plurality of holes therethrough is welded to the articulated frame and grid component and a pair of relatively slidable damper plates are secured to the bottom edge of the articulated frame by a plurality of S-shaped clips.
Abstract: A generally planar, access limiting closure plate is provided in an outdoor lighting luminaire to close off the ballast and optical cavity portions of the luminaire from the exposed slip fitter mounting device at the end of the luminaire housing in order to prevent small animal from entering or nesting in the electrified portions of the luminaire.
Abstract: A lamp socket mounting and adjusting assembly for an outdoor lighting luminaire in which the lamp socket is secured to an adjustable socket mounting plate which is variably positionable with respect to a socket mounting bracket to vary both the focal point and the focal tilt axis of the lamp. Separate sets of indicia on the socket mounting bracket indicate both the focal axis tilt and the focal point selected for the lamp.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for supplying filament coils to a mount machine which includes a pair of vibratory storage bowls each having a filament coil discharge location which alternately feed filament coils on demand from the mount machine. There is further included sensing devices and logic circuitry which cause a filament coil to be fed from the other of the filament coil discharge locations when a filament coil is not present at the selected filament coil discharge location.
Abstract: An improved arc tube end seal and the method of forming that seal in a high pressure sodium discharge lamp is disclosed. The method includes precoating the refractory metal end cap with a slurry of a mixture of refractory metal powder and powdered metallic silicon and baking the end cap prior to accomplishing the bonding of the end cap to the arc tube with a conventional sealing frit.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for forming and delivering insulating glass in gob form to a lamp base making machine from a continuous stream of molten glass. A rotating dial severs the glass stream into uniform gobs and during rotation forms the gobs into a ball like form and delivers the gobs to a pair of radially spaced drop points for delivery to the base shells on an indexing base making machine.
Abstract: A versatile, electrified space dividing wall panels system including wall panels having baseboard raceways adjacent their bottom edges and electrically connected terminal blocks at each end of the baseboard raceway which include longitudinally and outwardly directed male electrical terminals adapted to receive female connectors from a source of electrical power or transfer electrical power to an adjacent wall panel. Each of said terminal blocks are adapted to receive plug-in convenience outlets in each side thereof through the raceway side walls.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for tipping off the refractory metal tubulation of a high pressure sodium discharge lamp arc tube including a machine which repetitively squeezes the tubulation through two pairs of sequentially reciprocating jaws to mechanically swage the tubulation to a reduced diameter prior to electrical flashing to cause separation and sealing off of the tubulation.
Abstract: An improved sound absorptive tackable space dividing wall panel or similar article in which a wire mesh screen is disposed within the sound absorptive material a distance from the tackable surface less than the length of the tack pin, thereby providing additional support for the tackable load without appreciably reducing the sound absorptive characteristics of the panel.
