The metallic casting core includes a plurality of body sections. The first region is along at least some of the body sections. The metallic casting core includes a plurality of springs spanning gaps between adjacent body sections and unitarily formed therewith.

The transmitter selects a specific TH code using MCSK according to an additional data stream, performs BPPM on a desired signal according to the selected TH code, and transmits the modulated signal via a channel. The receiver receives the signal transmitted from the transmitter via the channel, and estimates the transmitted signal, which is transmitted from the transmitter, through detection of a Maximum Likelihood (ML) sequence.

Abstract: There are provided a resin double helical gear capable of reducing operation noises and vibrations of an ink jet printer, and a gear train for an ink jet printer using the same. The gear train 2 for an ink jet printer 1 includes an output gear 5 of a motor 3, a first idle gear 6 meshing with the output gear 5, a second idle gear 7 rotatable with the first idle gear 6, and a driven gear 8 which is mounted on a roller shaft 13 so as to be rotatable therewith and which meshes with the second idle gear 7, wherein a resin double helical gear 101 is used as each of the output gear and the first idle gear, and a spur gear is used as each of the second idle gear and the driven gear. The resin double helical gear may have a meshing relief portion 113 by cutting a chevron-shaped top portion 104 in a central portion 103 in face width directions, which is arranged in a butt portion 113 between a first die 108 and a second die 110, from a tooth crest to a portion near a bottom land so as to decrease a tooth thickness.

Abstract: A DC power source device is provided which comprises conduction detectors 17, 18 for producing detection signals VP1, VP2 during the detective period of rectification MOS-FETs 15, 16 and timer circuits 19, 20 connected to polarity detectors 17, 18. Timer circuits 19, 20 count output time of detection signal VP1, VP2 from polarity detectors 17, 18 until electric current through one of rectification MOS-FETs 15, 16 comes to zero, and turns the other of rectification MOS-FETs 15, 16 off immediately before termination of the counted time so that timer circuits 19, 20 can reliably turn rectification MOS-FETs 15, 16 off during the conductive period of forward current flow for efficient synchronous rectification.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for seamlessly transitioning text into sign language. The apparatus comprises an encoding module and a translation module. The encoding module includes a camera for recording visual images of a model signing words and phrases, a video box for providing each of the images with a position code, and a processing unit with a memory for storing each of the recorded images so as to create a database of sign language video clips. The translation module includes a processing unit, a monitor associated with the processing unit for displaying a visual output in seamless sign language and a textual output, and a memory containing the database associated with the processing unit.

By turning the on-off operation of output-regulatory MOS-FET 40 in synchronization with switching frequency of first or second MOS-FETs 1, 2, an ideal cross regulation among respective DC outputs can be obtained, providing the inexpensive converter with simple circuit alteration capable of producing highly stable DC outputs with high power conversion efficiency, high accuracy and less power conversion loss.

Abstract: A method for repairing a gas turbine engine component includes the steps of repairing one of a suction side or a pressure side of the component; repairing internal geometry of the component after one of the suction side or the pressure side of the component is repaired; and repairing the other of the suction side and the pressure side of the component after the internal geometry of the component is repaired, wherein a backing material is utilized to preserve the internal geometry of the component when the other of the suction side and the pressure side of the component is being repaired.
