  • Patent number: 4942744
Abstract: It is a self-shining artificial jewelry device, which mainly comprises a piece of artificial jewel having a cavity, an illuminating element being mounted inside the cavity, of which the inner surface is furnished with a plurality of facets. The outer facets of the artificial jewel are coated with a colored coating. • Patent number: 4874301
Abstract: A fuel pumping apparatus for supplying fuel to an internal combustion engine comprises a rotary distributor member mounting a pumping plunger slidable in a bore and moved inwardly to discharge fuel from the bore by cam lobes on the internal surface of a cam ring, the cam lobes acting on the plunger through a cam follower. A valve is provided which at a predetermined position during the inward movement of the plunger, is opened to lower the pressure in the bore and thereby to terminate fuel flow through an outlet. The valve is actuated by the cam lobes either from the cam follower or from the plunger.

  • Patent number: 4863383
Abstract: The implant for dental purposes comprises a socket (4) and is provided with self-tapping screw threads, which are screwed into a pilot bore formed in the jaw bone. The socket receives a post (10), which has a stem (13) and is adapted to carry dental suprastructures. The stem (13) of the post is provided at its inner end with male screw threads (16), which have been screwed into female screw threads formed in the socket. In accordance with the invention the crest diameter of the self-tapping screw threads is equal throughout the axial length of said screw threads to the diameter of the socket (4) at its outer end. The self-tapping screw threads are formed on an axially inwardly tapering shank and continuously decrease in depth to zero from the inner end of said self-tapping screw threads to the outer end of the socket (4) or to a point which is spaced 2 to 3 mm from the outer end of said socket.

  • Patent number: 4833352
Abstract: A linear inductive transducer includes a cylindrical former about which is wound a winding. Surrounding the former is a magnetic sleeve having external flange means which is located against an end face of a first casing part. A core member is slidable within a bore in the former and the former has a head located against an end of the sleeve. A second casing part is located about the first casing part and defines a space in which the head is located. The space is filled with a synthetic resin which secures the casing parts together and retains the head in engagement with the sleeve and the flange means in engagement with the first casing part.
