Abstract: An anti-rolling apparatus according to the present invention includes rail members which are formed in straight form and disposed perpendicular to a rolling axis of an object whose rolling is to be reduced, a movable weight capable of reciprocating along the rail members, and two springs for generating a stability force for the movable weight, wherein the two springs are elongated or contracted alternately when the movable weight is reciprocated.

Abstract: An improved golf glove of a type having a pinkie engaging portion for engaging the pinkie, a ring finger engaging portion for engaging the ring finger, a middle finger engaging portion for engaging the middle finger, an index finger engaging portion for engaging the index finger, a thumb engaging portion for engaging the thumb, a palm engaging portion for engaging the palm, a back hand engaging portion for engaging the back of the hand, a wrist engaging portion for engaging the wrist and has a throughslot that extends longitudinally along the back of the hand portion, a fastening flap fixedly attached at a fixed edge to the back of the hand portion to one side of the throughslot and extending therefrom over the throughslot to the back of the hand portion on the other side of the throughslot where it is selectively maintained thereagainst by mating portions of hook and loop fasteners. The improvement includes a pair of magnets contained in the fastening flap.

Abstract: An insect trap for attracting insects such as roaches and the like formed of a container defining a chamber holding bait. The container is provided with openings for the entry and exit of insects into the chamber, and a bait entry portal for the introduction of bait into the chamber. The bait entry portal is formed of elastomeric material openable upon exertion of a pressure thereon for introduction of bait and closeable upon removal of the pressure to seal said container.

Abstract: A ring type binder for perforated sheets or the like in which two members are coaxially secured so that a slot is formed along each longitudinal edge of the members. Another partially open ring member is provided that is configured to be slidably received in the slots so that ring member may be moved from an opened to a closed position. A locking device is provided so that the binder may be selectively locked in the closed portion, thereby preventing the unwanted shifting of the members.

Abstract: A length measuring apparatus employing a magnetostrictive delay line according to the present invention includes a drive coil (4), a receiving coil (3) provided on an outer periphery of the magnetostrictive delay line (1) over the whole length measuring range thereof, the magnetostrictive delay line (1) uniformly magnetized in its length direction, and a short-circuit ring (2) disposed over an outer periphery of the receiving coil (3). Ultrasonic vibration (C) is generated in the magnetostrictive delay line (1) by using the drive pulse (A) applied to the drive coil (4). A pulse current (B) generated in the receiving coil (3) is detected when the ultrasonic vibration (C) is propagated in the magnetostrictive delay line (1) and passes by a position where the short-circuit ring (2) is disposed. A position of the short-circuit ring (2) is measured based on a time from generation of the drive pulse (A) to generation of the pulse current (B) in the detection coil 3.

Abstract: A fluid actuator for use in a fluid injector assembly including a piston arranged for reciprocation in a chamber, the piston including a connected plunger operating in an injection chamber. A control valve member is actuated to apply fluid to the chamber on opposite sides of the piston to reciprocate the piston and plunger. A fluid throttling arrangement is provided to decelerate the piston towards the ends of its stroke. The fluid actuator may also be associated with an engine valve assembly.

Abstract: A device for automatically adjusting the height of a keyboard table of a console enclosure so as to allow the keyboard table to automatically be at an elevation comfortable for various users. The console enclosure has a hollow base that contains a pair of spaced-apart and vertically-oriented partitions each of which has a pair of throughslots that are vertically-spaced-apart, horizontally-oriented, and generally oblong-shaped. A pair of sub-units that are interchangeable and opposing are mounted respectively to the pair of partitions. Each of the sub-units include a track, a stationary frame, a movable frame, and apparatus. The track is replaceably mounted to a respective partition of the pair of partitions. The stationary frame is fixedly disposed in the track. The movable frame is mounted in the track for vertical movement therein and replaceably attaches the keyboard table thereto for vertical movement therewith.

Abstract: The invention relates to a scraper-chain assembly for scraper-chain conveyors, in particular central or double central scraper-chain conveyors, having a scraper connection to horizontal chain links of the single-strand or two-strand chain assembly. Vertical chain links hooked into the horizontal chain links are provided with longitudinal limbs which have a non-round cross-section, and whose thickness dimension is smaller than that of nose parts of these chain links that connect the longitudinal limbs. For the scraper connection, the scrapers have coupling and locking pins, which extend through internal openings of the horizontal chain links, between the hooked-in vertical chain links and which protrude from the internal openings to form locking pieces which serve to secure the scrapers.
