Abstract: A multi-use table includes a tabletop; a pair of legs carried by the tabletop; and a mouse pad having a mouse pad body carried by the tabletop, a track ball mouse carried by the mouse pad body and an interface cable connected to the track ball mouse. The multi-use table can include a tilting tabletop having a tab, which is removably inserted into a slot within a table base. An angle support assembly is hingeably coupled to a center lower surface of the tilting tabletop. The angle support engages with a feature within the table base such that the tilting tabletop remains at an angle. An anti-slip material can be disposed upon the top surface of the tabletop for securing a laptop.

Abstract: A method for searching multiple documents on a computer system includes steps for sending a query to a system core where the query is passed to a search component for searching the documents. The system core in turn receives results from the search component indicating related documents to the query and passes to a summarization component a specified number of the results. The summarization component processes related documents corresponding to the specified number of results to produce a multi-document summary. The system core receives the summary from the summarization component. The multi-document summary is received from the system core.

Abstract: A padlock for adjusting to a length of a lock cylinder includes a padlock housing and a shackle having an unlocked position and a locked position within the padlock housing. A central bore is disposed in a bottom of the padlock housing having a depth longer than the length of the lock cylinder for accepting the lock cylinder within the padlock housing. An adaptable cam is adjustably joinable to a distal end of the lock cylinder for adjusting for a difference between the depth and the length, and for rotatable engagement of the shackle to enable the shackle to move between the locked position and the unlocked position. A lock cap is joinable to an open end of the central bore for retaining the adaptable cam and the lock cylinder within the central bore.

Abstract: A method for information editorial controls includes a group of members in an online community receiving authorization a category of editorially-controlled content. A first editor of the group in the online community receives authorization to the category of editorially-controlled content. A member of the group rates published comments within a predefined range. A contributing member of the group submits additional comments. The first editor reviews the additional comments to determine suitability for incorporation into the category of editorially-controlled content and determines whether to award points to the contributing member within a predefined range. The first editor incorporates suitable additional comments into the category of editorially-controlled content and publishes an edited category of editorially-controlled content wherein the suitable additional comments improves the content of the category.

Abstract: An automobile manual transmission shifter is provided that includes a shifter central shaft means for dampening at least part of the vibration transmitted from the manual automobile transmission, an adjustable connector attaching an upper and lower portions of the shaft to vary the throw of the shifter, and an adjustable swivel shifter handle means for maintaining a continuous perpendicular gripping position while allowing rotatational adjustment of the swivel shifter handle means about the shifter central shaft means. Some embodiments may not include the vibration dampening means.

Abstract: A maneuverable fishing lure for attachment to a fishing line includes a lure body including a first end and a second end. An attachment means joins to the fishing line where a retrieval of the fishing line imparts motion on the lure through water. A rudder is pivotally joined to the lure body proximate to the first end. The rudder is pivotal between a first position and a second position about a pivot axis substantially perpendicular to an axis extending through the first end and the second end. With the rudder in the first position, the motion causes the lure to travel through the water in a first direction. With the rudder in the second position, the motion causes the lure to and travel through the water in a second direction. A change in the motion causes the rudder to pivot between the first position and the second position.

Abstract: A commuter train ferry system includes a train engine. A plurality of boxcars is joinable to each other and to the train engine to form the commuter train ferry. Each of the boxcars includes a plurality of decks for transporting a plurality of vehicles and their occupants during a commuter trip. At least one ramp includes a plurality of driving surfaces for accessing the plurality of decks for loading and unloading the vehicles and their occupants from the boxcars where the occupants of the vehicles load and unload the vehicles from the boxcars and remain within the vehicles for at least a part of the commuter trip.

Abstract: A speaker system is presented. The speaker system has a front speaker driver, a shroud mounted to the front speaker driver substantially encasing a cylinder volume on a rear portion of the front speaker driver. A rear speaker driver having similar dimensions to the front speaker is axially aligned with the front speaker driver and secured at a determined distance behind the front speaker driver and the shroud providing an air gap between the shroud and the rear speaker driver. An acoustically treated enclosure encloses a volume on a rear portion of the rear speaker driver. Electrical connections connect the front speaker driver and the rear speaker driver to terminals for connection to an external driving source such that like excursions occur on the front speaker driver and the rear speaker driver when the external driving source is operable and the front speaker driver functions in an open baffle system.

Abstract: A topical hair care formulation and method of making includes combining generally equal amounts of eclipta alba herbal powder and embelica officinalis herbal powder to form a herbal powder mixture. The herbal powder mixture is steeped in an amount of base oil for a period of time to form a brown solution. A portion of an amount of olive oil is combined with an amount of biotin and an amount of Methylsulfonylmethane to form a natural mixture. A remainder of the amount of olive oil is combined with the brown solution. An amount of jojoba oil is combined with the brown solution. An amount of rosemary oil is combined with the brown solution. An amount of lavender oil is combined with the brown solution. The natural mixture is combined with the brown solution. The brown solution is settled for a period of time to form the topical hair care formulation.

Abstract: An exercise device and method that is suitable to provide lateral stabilization of the exerciser performing a squatting exercise is provided. The device includes an exercise bar, and wheels that are located, in some implementation, at least the width of a doorframe. Some embodiments of the exercise bar further include a means to adjust its length and to cause vertical resistance. The lateral stabilization method includes the steps of aligning the wheels of the wheeled exercise bar to properly engage the vertical guiding surface; and engaging the vertical guiding surface with the wheels of the wheeled exercise bar such that the wheels roll with sufficient frictional or normal force thereon to provide lateral stabilization to the user.

Abstract: A pencil sharpener for sharpening a pencil includes a central gear including an aperture along an axis of the central gear for receiving an end portion of the pencil. A first gear rotates the central gear and a strap joined to the central gear secures the pencil when the central gear is rotated. A shaft is in communication with the first gear where when the central gear is rotated the shaft is rotated. A cutting blade is in communication with the shaft where when the shaft is rotated the cutting blade cuts the end portion of the pencil at an angle to form a point.

Abstract: A method for delivering content to users from a web site system over a network is presented. The method includes one or more users connecting to the web site system over the network for the purpose of registering as a sending party to provide content to the web site system along with providing one or more smart-tags associated with the content, the smart-tags providing qualifying information about the content, or registering as a subscribing party to request content from the web site system by providing a subscription including one or more smart-tags. The sending party requests the web site system to deliver content provided by the sending party and the subscribing party requests delivery of the desired content. The subscribing party receives the desired content from the web site system over the network when the subscription at least in part matches one or more smart-tags provided by the sending party.

Abstract: An apparatus for aerobic leg exercise of a seated user includes a first unit having means for supporting a first linear track on a floor, means for joining a first unit to the first linear track for non-resistive movement and means for enabling the seated user with a multi-positional contact for moving the first unit along the first linear track without substantial vertical movement of the seated user's knee. A second unit has means for supporting a second linear track on the floor, means for joining a second unit to the second linear track for non-resistive movement and means for enabling the seated user with a multi-positional contact for moving the second unit along the second linear track without substantial vertical movement of the seated user's knee. A means secures the first unit and the second unit at a desired splay angle and a means stabilizes the apparatus.

Abstract: An apparatus for drafting a framework for a pattern and a method of using the apparatus is presented. The apparatus includes a generally rigid planer structure. A pivot point includes a pivot point aperture extending through the rigid planer structure for enabling scribing a center point of the framework and rotating the rigid planer structure about the center point. A plurality of lines pass through the pivot point. Each of the plurality of lines includes a plurality of apertures for enabling scribing marks for forming a basis for lines in the framework. At least one line of generally equally spaced longitudinal apertures, wherein each of the longitudinal apertures is at a first fixed radial distance from the pivot point, enables scribing a circle for the framework, where the circle is scribed by rotation of the rigid planer structure about the pivot point.

Abstract: A magnetically operated electrical switch is presented. The electrical switch includes a linear magnet assembly contained within a housing and movable along an axis of the housing, a rod attached to an end of the linear magnet facing an open end, and means for attaching the housing to a surface. An electrical switch assembly attachable to the open end includes a make/break switch, a switch plunger and an operating lever engaging the plunger where the make/break switch is placed in the first position when an end of the operating lever is contacted by the rod. An electrical wire connection harness includes at least two conductors where the make/break switch closes/opens a connection between one of the conductors. When an operating magnet assembly is positioned on the surface proximate to the switch, the operating magnet moves the linear magnet and a position of the make/break switch is changed.

Abstract: A lock device includes a universal spacer, for receiving a lock cylinder, and a plurality of spacer holes where one of the holes is positioned to receive a lock bolt of the lock cylinder. A padlock body houses the universal spacer. A plurality of padlock body holes extends from an interior of a universal spacer hole into the padlock body. The padlock body holes are positioned to match the spacer holes and one of the padlock body holes receives the lock bolt when the lock cylinder is in a locked position. A padlock bolt secures the universal spacer, lock cylinder and padlock body in place when the lock cylinder is in the locked position. When the lock cylinder is in the unlocked position, the universal spacer with the lock cylinder can be removed from the universal spacer hole and the lock cylinder can be replaced with another lock cylinder.

The albums include at least one level of sharing associated with each of the users, the level of sharing being in part assigned by users creating the albums. One or more accounts are associated with each user. The accounts allow the each of the users to access albums they created and albums that they are allowed access. An album creator creates the album. An album viewer views contents of the album. A file viewer views contents of the files. An album manager allows the one or more users to associate levels of sharing of the album and to modify the contents of the album.

Abstract: An apparatus for testing semiconductor devices includes a first member configured as a drawer to be movable in and out of the housing and to receive a tray assembly containing semiconductor devices having exposed electrical contacts. The tray assembly includes a top portion and a bottom portion. The bottom portion includes structures for retaining the semiconductor devices in fixed positions and tray openings providing access to the electrical contacts. The top portion includes surfaces for contacting the semiconductor devices and a stress relief structure on the top. A second member moves the first member in a vertical direction to a tester pack. The tester pack sends and receives electrical signals to and from the semiconductor devices by way of the electrical contacts. A test computer provides instruction to the tester pack allowing the tester pack to test the semiconductor devices and return test information to the test computer.
