Abstract: A stroller bag fabricated from a lightweight, durable, easily cleaned material is described. The stroller bag includes a carrier having an upper end, a lower end, a front side, a back side, a first side and a second side. A flexible strap is attached adjacent the upper end of the carrier extending from the first side to the second side. The strap has a first end and a second end and includes means, adjacent the first and second ends, for removably attaching a portion of the strap back onto itself so as to form a pair of small loops. These loops are used to attach the carrier to the horizontal handle of a stroller. When the loops are unfastened from the stroller the strap may serve as a means for suspending the carrier from the neck or shoulder of a caregiver using the stroller bag. The stroller bag also includes a cinch belt, constructed of two portions of strapping material attached at the first side and second side of the carrier adjacent its upper end.
Abstract: A final stage automatic weigh and count filling machine feed mechanism is described. The invention is a refinement for machinery used to produce standard quantities of piece parts for subsequent packaging. In general these machines use a series of vibrating feed trays to move a flow of piece parts from a bulk supply into a batching hopper that includes a weighing means. A precise weight is correlated with a part count for a given part. As the desired weight is approached, electronic signals are generated by the weighing means to regulate the speed of vibration applied to the trays or to terminate the vibration altogether. The refinement in the present invention is a trickle feed pan that is affixed to a mounting rail which extends up through an opening in a final stage bulk feed pan. The final stage bulk feed pan and trickle feed pan are mounted on separate vibratory drive mechanisms that are independently controlled.
Abstract: A novel motor controlled microvalve dispenser includes a body section through which fluid, e.g., adhesives, epoxies, fluxes solder pastes, for example, is accurately dispensed as a dot or bead or other shape, all of a predetermined dimension. The housing includes a removable and replaceable insert which prevents any of the fluid from contacting any of the interior walls of the housing or of the infeed passage. The insert includes both an infeed passage which extends out of the housing and an outlet passage also extending out of the housing, the insert including a bore into which a feed screw or auger is sealingly positioned for rotation by the motor. Attached to outlet passage is an applicator or tip dispenser such as a removable and replaceable dispensing needle.
Abstract: The athletic shoe of the present invention is comprised of a resilient sole portion and an upper portion having an ankle enclosing section and a toe enclosing section. The ankle enclosing section arises from and is secured to the after end of the sole portion and includes a top portion defining an opening through which the wearer's foot may be introduced. The ankle enclosing section further includes an outer side an inner side. A flexible tongue member is attached to the inner side and extends laterally to the outer side. The ankle enclosing section includes a forward area having an opening through which the wearer's forefoot and toes will extend when the shoe is worn. The toe enclosing section is hingedly attached at is inner side to the inner edge of the resilient sole and may be swung upwardly to permit introduction or removal of the wearer's foot. The toe enclosing section is detachably secured to the outer edge of the sole portion at its outer side.
Abstract: The improved fit cap of the present intention fit wearers within a predetermined range of hat sizes. The improved fit cap has a crown member and a brim extending from a front portion. A sweat band having a bottom edge, and a top edge is attached along its lower edge to an interior surface of the crown member. When attached to the crown member, the bottom edge of the sweat band is of a larger circumference than the circumference of the top edge of the sweat band. Furthermore, the sweat band is composed of an unidirectionally stretchable fabric aligned to stretch only along an axis perpendicular to the top and bottom edges of the sweat band.
Abstract: An improved brassiere comprising a means for connecting a first point located on the back portion of a first shoulder strap to a second point located on a first lateral strap. The second point is located between the end of the first lateral strap and the juncture of the first shoulder strap and the first lateral strap. Also, the brassiere includes a means for connecting a third point located on the back portion of the second shoulder strap to a fourth point located on the second lateral strap. The fourth point is located between the end of the second lateral strap and the juncture of the second shoulder strap and the second lateral strap. The means for connecting the first and second points is a first strap having two ends with each end fixedly or removably attached to the first and second points. The means for connecting the third and fourth points is a second strap having two ends with each end fixedly or removably attached to the third and fourth points.
