Abstract: A patient care management system for assisting a physician in monitoring drug use by a patient. The system receives drug dispensation data for a drug, on the basis of which the system determines drug supply availability data. The drug supply availability data is indicative of periods of time during which the drug was available in non-duplicate supply, or in oversupply, or in insufficient supply. The periods of time are displayed with respect to a common time base. Each degree of supply availability is visually displayed via a graphical user interface using, e.g., a color coded scheme, so as to be distinguishable by a user. This allows a physician to rapidly assess over-consumption or compliance problems. Plural drugs may be monitored on a single display screen. The system may also be adapted to allow an prescribing physician to assess refill compliance, hospitalization periods and prescription drug costs.

A method comprises: a) upon generation of a game outcome, evaluating the game outcome according to a plurality of evaluation structures against a payout criteria set and a feature criteria set; b) for each evaluation of an evaluation structure that fulfills a payout criterion, calculating a payout value according to a feature attribute associated with said evaluation structure; c) for each evaluation structure having an associated feature attribute and that fulfills a feature criterion, modifying said feature attribute, said modified feature attribute persisting for calculating the payout value of at least one subsequent game outcome; and d) awarding the sum of the calculated payout values of all of the evaluation structures to a player. An embodiment involves a free-spin feature in which the feature attributes are multiplier values evolving and persisting throughout the free-spin feature.
Abstract: The present document describes an actuated chair for inducing motion with respect to the ground as a function of motion signals synchronized with a video output of a feature length movie. The chair comprises a seat base, and an actuating base for receiving the motion signals. The actuating base comprises three link members, namely a first link member, a second link member and a third link member. Each link member has one translational degree of freedom and two rotational degrees of freedom. The first link member and the second link member are attached to the seat base closer to the rear edge than the third link member. The actuating base further comprises three linear actuators for inducing motion to the seat base. The actuators are fixed to the frame and each actuator is respectively connected to the seat base using a respective one of the three link members.

Abstract: In the application, embodiments for providing an interdependent combination of a primary game and a bonus feature are described. According to one embodiment of the invention, a method comprises the steps of conducting the primary game, conducting the bonus feature upon fulfillment of a triggering criterion, resuming conduct of the primary game upon fulfillment of primary-game ticket criterion with a bonus-feature resuming criterion being established during the conduct of the bonus feature, and resuming conduct of the bonus feature upon fulfillment of the bonus-feature resuming criterion. Between the times the primary game and the bonus feature are resumed, data relative to the bonus feature are maintained to permit resuming of the bonus feature in the state is was left. Embodiments of gaming machines, gaming devices, and game servers involved in providing embodiments of the invention are also described.
Abstract: A semisynthetic route has been provided in the preparation of docetaxel and paclitaxel. This new process involves the conversion of 9-dihydro-13-acetylbaccatin III to docetaxel and paclitaxel by the step of converting 9-dihydro-13-acetylbaccatin III into 7-O-triethylsilyl-9,10-diketobaccatin III, and adding docetaxel and paclitaxel side chain precursors, respectively, to form a new class of taxane intermediates, such as 7-O-triethylsilyl-9,10-diketodocetaxel and 7-O-triethylsilyl-9,10-diketopaclitaxeltaxel. These new intermediates then by a series reduction, acetylation of the 10-hydroxyl position for paclitaxel and finally deprotection to yield docetaxel and paclitaxel, the most important anti-cancer drugs.
Abstract: A method of operating a game of chance comprising displaying a plurality of groups comprising positions a plurality of selectable objects, each being associated with a hidden value. A player selection of a group and/or a selectable object is received, a group-object association is created and a position from said group is assigned to said object. Upon occurrence of an ending condition, a prize is awarded. A game apparatus and a computer program applying the method are also provided.
Abstract: A system and method for requirement driven interoperability/compliance testing of Hardware and Software in a distributed environment. Three modules are configured as a default system: a test definition, a SUT definition and a test result. A series of tree elements are coupled to represent requirements to test case mapping. Test cases are executed and components in the system are assigned with test results while requirements coverage is computed. Auto-detection of additional parts and test cases enables validity checking of the requirement to test case tree and reports are generated.
Abstract: The present document describes a system for offline testing of an installed wiring harness, comprising: at least a first and a second testing module, having: a communication module for receiving test specifications and for sending test measurements; testing equipment for generating the test measurements from the test specifications; each of the first and second testing modules being adapted for connection at a connection point in the wiring harness; a central network management module, having: a communication module for providing the test specifications to the testing modules and for receiving the test measurements; and a test management module for controlling the testing modules.
Abstract: The invention provides a miniature robust fiber optic pressure sensor. The miniature fiber optic sensor comprises a Fabry-Perot chip bonded to an optical fiber. The invention provides a new sensor design that reduces the amount of adhesive required to bond the optical fiber to the Fabry-Perot sensor such that the sensor is less sensitive to moisture. The invention also provides manufacturing methods of the sensor comprising a method based on etching and a method based on using an excimer laser. The invention also provides a chip design that renders the chip less sensitive to thermal changes. The invention also provides a chip design in which a sensor diaphragm has a well-defined thickness. The invention also provides a chip design that protects the chip from etching.

The latter comprises: i) determining an access type associated with the triggering outcome among many types associated with distinct permissions, ii) providing a feature-game representation composed of a plurality of selectable objects having values and positions, the objects being displayed according to a state based on previous plays of the feature game, iii) receiving a player selection of an object according to a determined permission, iv) affecting the selection according to permission associated with the access type, and modifying selected object status accordingly, v) registering the status and position of all of the feature-game selectable objects, and vi) resuming the primary game.
Abstract: The present invention consists in a system for securing data exchanged between two users having a First Information Processing System (FIPS) and a Second Information Processing System (SIPS) that have been correspondently paired. To complete encryption, the system includes a FIPS to encrypt data with a key, a SIPS to encrypt said key with a stored correspondent key and to encrypt correspondent key identifier with a public key common to the SIPSs. The integrated secured data include FIPS and SIPS encrypted information. The invention is also suitable for decryption. The invention further comprises structures to perform correspondent pairing between two SIPSs in order to exchange secured information. Furthermore, it comprises a pairing method wherein the SIPSs identify each other, exchange ciphered availability codes on the basis of available keys and key identifiers, and also set a correspondence pairing when a key and key identifier available in both SIPSs are identified.

Abstract: Discloses a system to provide cellular handset operational status information to wireless carriers relating to insertion or proximity of mobile cellular handsets to a hybrid fixed wireless interface (HFWI) device. Upon handset coupling to a HFWI, by insertion of the handset into a receiving connector on the HFWI or proximity of the handset to the HFWI, the system controls the handset to update the signalling protocol to inform the wireless carrier of an interfaced and operational operation mode. In an alternative arrangement upon handset coupling to the HFWI, the HFWI instructs the handset to transmit an interfaced and operational mode of operation message to the wireless carrier. In a preferred embodiment upon removal of the handset from the HFWI, or the handset being taken out of reach of HFWI proximity sensing, the system reverts to the conventional signalling protocol indicating a non-interfaced (mobile) operation mode to the carrier.
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to software functional modules and, in particular, to such modules used for delivering hybrid static and dynamic content.
