Abstract: A system for conveying viewer-selected information to viewers of a golf tournament includes a group of external input signals, a command facility, and a remote device able to convey viewer-selected information to the viewer. The external signals are from a group that includes at least a real-time identity of a club that a player is using. The remote viewing device is able to convey transmitted visual information and includes (1) a means for receiving transmitted signals conveying visual information, (2) a means for displaying selected visual information, and (3) a means to enable a viewer to select the visual information desired to be displayed from a group including at least the real-time identity of the club that a selected player has had removed from a golf bag used by the player.

Abstract: A jewelry storage apparatus is disclosed that combine a traditional jewelry storage box with a hanger to utilize vertical space in a closet. One embodiment is an apparatus for storing jewelry that comprises a hanger and a storage structure affixed to the hanger where the storage structure comprises a ring structure with a base and compression slits for holding rings in a display mode, a bracelet structure for suspending bracelets, an earring structure for displaying earrings, and a necklace structure for hanging necklaces. The apparatus is suitable for storing in a display-mode a large amount of various types of jewelry including rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets in both a scratch-free mode and a tangle-free manner.

Abstract: An apparatus for retrieving soft objects, the apparatus comprising a storage section, a gathering section, a rim and an elongated handle. The storage section is shaped like an open basket on its side and having a top and a bottom. The gathering section extends from the bottom of the storage section, comprises two barrier regions separated by a retaining region, and has a leading edge. The rim is attached at least to the leading edge. The handle projects upward from the top of the storage section at such an angle to permit a raking motion when collecting objects. Also a method for gathering soft objects on the ground including the steps of rotating handle of above apparatus to place its bottom on the ground, pulling the apparatus over fruit-laden ground, and rotating handle so bottom is on top to move the objects elsewhere.

Abstract: An apparatus to dispense ice to pets left alone by owners for a period of time. The apparatus includes an ice compartment, a dispensing element to dispense ice when activated, and an activation element for activating the dispensation when any movement or heat is detected within a predetermined distance from the apparatus, or when a pressure switch is contacted. The number of times that ice is dispensed is no more than three times within a half hour. Ice may be made by the apparatus or deposited within an insulated compartment of the apparatus.

Abstract: A wine rack system for the easy assembly of a custom-fitted wine rack apparatus is described. The system comprises parts that enable the construction of the wine rack apparatus that is able to be easily assembled and custom-fitted into a variety of differently-sized home storage spaces and affixed to at least one storage space surface. The resulting wine rack apparatus is sturdy, flexible, modular and stationary.
