    Abstract: Polymeric materials are repolymerized by intensely admixing the polymer with an additive having the formula: ##STR1## wherein M is titanium or zirconium, R, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each a monovalent alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aralkyl, aryl or alkaryl group having up to 20 carbon atoms or a halogen or ether substituted derivative thereof, and, in addition, R.sup.2 may also be an oxy derivative or an ether substituted oxy derivative of said groups; A, B, and C are each a monovalent aroxy, thioaroxy, diester phosphate, diester pyrophosphate, oxyalkylamino, sulfonyl or carboxyl containing up to 30 carbon atoms; and a+b+c=3. The repolymerized polymers have improved physical properties and higher heat distortion temperatures, experience less thermal degradation and show greater solvolysis resistance than the polymers prior to the repolymerization.

    Abstract: A clothes hoist comprising a bearing block secured to the outer surface of the fixed lower standard of a clothes hoist but having an annular projection which extends through an aperture in the wall of the lower standard and into an aperture in the side wall of a tubular inner member to thereby support the tubular inner member, the tubular inner member itself supporting a nut which threadably engages a non-circular threaded stem which, upon rotation of the nut, raises or lowers the upper standard. Rotation is effected by rotating a handle on the end of a driving pinion skirt journalled in the bearing block, and having a driving pinion on its inner end which meshes with a driven pinion on the nut. A body surrounds the lower standard and overlies an outwardly projecting portion of the bearing block.

A means is provided for driving the membranes as desired and for powering the electric windings in order to generate the magnetic field.

A rotary drum assembly is rotatably mounted within the housing and comprises a drum having a substantially vertical rotary axis and a helical blade helically wound around a circumferential surface of the drum. A cylindrical screen member disposed between the drum assembly and the housing cooperates with a peripheral wall of the housing to define therebetween a first chamber and cooperates with the circumferential surface of the drum to define therebetween a second chamber. The granular material to be screened is introduced into the top of the second chamber. Upon the rotation of the drum assemby, the granular material introduced into the top of the second chamber is moved toward the bottom of the second chamber by the helical blade and due to gravity.

Depending on the molar ratio of the components, the compounds produced may contain cyclic or straight chain pyrophosphate groups and alkoxy groups attached to the metallic ion. A spring contact (6) is mounted within the housing for movement between open and closed positions. An insulating shroud (15) fully shields that part of the bridging contact accessible through an access opening of the housing. Manually operable pressure applying structure may be operated when the bridging contact is in the closed position to control that contact between a tightened condition applying pressure between the bridging contact and the conductors without the use of springs, and a free condition wherein the contact pressure is reduced. An interlock assembly prevents engagement and disengagement of the operating member with the pressure applying structure unless the bridging contact is located in either the closed or open position.
