Abstract: Hanger apparatus for suspending coiled tubing in a well including a tubing head having a vertical flow passage therethrough. An annular sealing assembly is carried in a low counterbored portion of the flow passage. A slip assembly is carried in an upper counterbored portion of the flow passage. The slip assembly is moveable between an outwardly expanded passive position in which the slip assembly does not interfere with the flow passage and an inwardly contracted active position in which gripping surfaces carried on the slip assembly engages the coiled tubing to support the weight thereof, the weight of the tubing being transferred from the slip assembly to the sealing assembly. Slip activators carried by the tubing head are manipulatable externally of the tubing head to move the slip assembly from passive positions to active positions. A method of utilizing the apparatus to install coiled tubing in a well is disclosed.

Each of the modular light holders comprises an elongated member of generally U-shaped cross-section to provide a channel in which the string of electric lights may be disposed. A plurality of uniformly spaced holders each one of which is engageable with one of the light sockets of said string of electric lights may be provided within the channel so that when viewed from at least one side of the modular light holder, the light sockets are hidden within the channel and the light bulbs project upwardly from the channel.
Abstract: A gas operated plunger for lifting well fluids from a subterranean reservoir to the surface through a well conduit comprising: a plunger body slidably mountable within the conduit having an upper portion, a lower portion and an intermediate cylindrical portion of reduced diameter; and a sealing assembly surrounding the intermediate cylindrical portion of the plunger body. The sealing assembly may include a plurality of longitudinally divided cylindrical segments of relatively smooth cylindrical surfaces for sliding and sealing contact with the well conduit walls to provide a seal which allows the plunger to gravitate through the well conduit to the reservoir and provides sufficient sealing upon an increase in gas pressure therebelow to elevate the plunger and well fluids thereabove to the surface.

Abstract: Apparatus for loading drums onto pallets including a support frame having a first area where the drums are moved to predetermined loading positions and a second area where drums may be placed on pallets for further handling. The frame supports a carriage assembly which supports a lift assembly. The lift assembly is engageable with the drums in the predetermined loading positions to lift them for transfer to the second area by the carriage assembly where they are lowered by the lift assembly onto pallets for further handling.
Abstract: Portable cooking apparatus which comprises a support stand for supporting the apparatus above a cooking fire; a pair of flat cooking grills between which food to be cooked may be placed and suspension members connecting the pair of cooking grills to the support stand. The suspension members are manipulatable for moving the pair of grills from a horizontal position to a vertical position and then to another horizontal position as the relative position as one grill on top of the other is reversed.
Abstract: Improved emission control apparatus for use with a diesel engine which may include an enclosed cylindrical housing having an inlet and an outlet. A particulate trap is disposed in the housing between the inlet and outlet for collection and removal of particulates from the engine exhaust. The particulate trap includes an upstream section of reduced diameter and a downstream section of a diameter greater than the cylindrical housing to form an annular pocket therearound. The upstream section is provided with peripheral walls in which are provided uniformly spaced, longitudinally disposed, slotted apertures.
Abstract: Lifting and towing apparatus for attachment to a towing vehicle having a winch thereon and the frame of which includes a pair of spaced apart longitudinal beams at least partially supported on a rear axle of said vehicle. The apparatus includes a support assembly extending transversely between the vehicle beams and opposite outer ends of which are attachable to opposing ones of the beams directly above the rear axle. An arm assembly extends rearwardly from the support assembly and has at least one lifting connection for connection to the winch and by which the distal end of the arm assembly may be lifted. A cradle assembly is connected to the distal end of the arm assembly for securing the front or rear wheels of a towed vehicle thereto for lifting above the ground in response to lifting of the distal end of the arm assembly by the winch.
Abstract: A self-propelled ground effect machine having an elongated body, on the underside of which is an air plenum chamber, and a motor driven fan for directing air flow to the air plenum chamber and for propelling the machine across land or water. The fan is disposed in a cylindrical shroud whose flow axis is generally parallel with the longitudinal axis of the elongated machine body. The axis of the shaft of the rotating fan is mounted at an inclined angle relative to a vertical plane passing through the longitudinal axis of the machine. A splitter device directs part of the air flow into the air plenum chamber and part generally rearwardly of the machine.
