Abstract: The present invention relates to a taste-masked pharmaceutical composition. In particular the invention relates to suspensions of microcapsules taste-masked as a function of a polymer coating and the pH of a suspending medium. Surprisingly, a polymer considered permeable maintains taste masking in this media whereas a polymer considered impervious by the industry does not. There is provided a taste masked oral pharmaceutical composition including: a pharmaceutically active ingredient having a pH-dependent solubility; a polymer encapsulating said pharmaceutically active ingredient, said polymer having a quaternary ammonium functionality; a suspending medium for suspending the encapsulated pharmaceutically active ingredient, said medium adjusted to a predetermined pH at which the pharmaceutically active ingredient remains substantially insoluble; and wherein the pharmaceutically active ingredient is taste masked by the combination of the polymer and suspending medium.

Abstract: A negative angular forming die having a lower die for supporting a workpiece. An upper die is lowered with respect to the lower die to abut against the workpiece for forming the workpiece. A columnar body is rotatably mounted on the lower die, and a groove is formed in the columnar body in the axial direction of the lower die. A slide cam is supported on the upper die and is opposed to the columnar body. An automatic returning tool is provided on the lower die for rotating and retracting the columnar body to a position at which the workpiece can be taken out from the lower die after the forming process is completed. The workpiece is placed on the supporting portion of the lower die with the columnar body being turned, and the slide cam is slid to form the workpiece by an entering forming portion of the columnar body. The columnar body is turned and retracted by the automatic returning tool after forming so that the formed workpiece can be taken out from the lower die.
Abstract: There is provided a process for producing an aerogel which comprises lowering a pH of a water glass solution to obtain a sol, gelling the sol to obtain a hydrogel, replacing water in the gel with an organic solvent, reacting the gel with a hydrophobilizing agent having hydrophobic groups as well as functional groups reactive with silanol groups in liquid phase, followed by supercritically drying; or hydrophobilizing and supercritically drying the resultant gel at the same time. Preferably, the hydrogel is prepared by ion exchanging alkali metals in the water glass solution using an ion exchange resin to obtain a sol which is subjected to suspension polymerization.
Abstract: A method for fabricating a non-volatile memory cell for a substrate includes the following steps: forming an isolation structure to define an active region on the substrate; forming a channel oxide layer on the active region; forming a conducting layer and a silicon nitride layer over the substrate; defining the polysilicon layer and the silicon nitride layer to form a floating gate on the active region and to form an opening exposing a portion of the isolation structure; conformally forming an etching protection layer which extends from the isolation structure inside the opening up to the silicon nitride layer; forming an oxide layer over the substrate; planarizing the oxide layer to the surface of the silicon nitride layer so that the remainder of the oxide layer is left within the opening; removing the silicon nitride layer; forming conducting spacers on the sidewalls of the remainder of the oxide layer; removing the remainder of the TEOS oxide layer; conformally forming an ONO layer; forming a controlling

Abstract: In the case of a print order where the content of an order regarding print output is provided from a user to a laboratory in a digital form, necessity of printing or the like can be decided at the time of image data acquisition and the image data sets can be classified and stored before they are provided to the laboratory. Furthermore, an order of prints wherein a plurality of image data sets are used, such as printing of a composed photograph, can be placed easily. A portion of the order information, such as necessity of printing, is added to image data as tag information. The reset of the order information is described as order information in an order file. The image data to be printed is specified by image information in the order file, and an addition to flag showing that the tag information needs to be referred to is set to ON.
