  • Patent number: 7437858
Abstract: A welded wire reinforcement is used in combination with insulated concrete form blocks having opposed panels joined by form ties. A method of construction forms building structures with insulated concert form blocks. The reinforcement member has a base bar and a plurality of arms extending downwardly from the base bar and is utilized to provide increased internal strength to a modular concrete wall system. The welded wire reinforcement provides vertical and horizontal support without requiring any extra time or material to connect a vertical reinforcement to the concrete forms of the wall system. An alternate embodiment of the reinforcement member includes a horizontal base bar, arms extending downward and perpendicular from the base bar, and a plurality of end pieces attached to the arms to form a discontinuous bottom bar. The base bar and bottom bar are slidably received in rebar chairs defined by the form ties.

  • Patent number: 7435167
Abstract: Mechanical assembly comprising a roller chain mounted on multiple sprockets attached via shafts and bearings to a frame. Multiple unloader shackles are attached to the roller chain such that all shackles are aligned in a consistent manner. The roller chain assembly is mounted in such a way as to align it longitudinally with an overhead shackle-line. It is mounted in such a way as to allow the individual unloader shackles to align directly opposite the individual overhead shackles at a specific offset distance and travel in the same direction as the overhead shackles. It is also mounted in such a way as to allow the attached shackles to rise in elevation from beneath the overhead shackles as they travel in the same direction as the overhead shackles. The chain is driven at a rate which synchronizes the attached unloader shackles with the overhead shackle-line to which it is aligned in order to transfer a carcass such as a leg quarter.

  • Patent number: 7432534
Abstract: The present invention relates to a III-nitride semiconductor light emitting device comprising a plurality of III-nitride semiconductor layers including an active layer emitting light by recombination of electrons and holes, the plurality of III-nitride semiconductor layers having a p-type III-nitride semiconductor layer at the top thereof, a SiaCbNc (a?0,b>0,c?0) layer grown on the p-type III-nitride semiconductor layer, the SiaCbNc layer having an n-type conductivity and a thickness of 5 ? to 500 ? for the holes to be injected into the p-type III-nitride semiconductor layer by tunneling, and a p-side electrode formed on the SiaCbNc layer. According to the present invention, a SiaCbNc (a?0,b>0,c>0) layer which can be doped with a high concentration is intervened between a p-type nitride semiconductor layer and a p-side electrode. Therefore, the present invention can solve the conventional problem.

  • Patent number: 7425171
Abstract: The invention is a post-operative binder designed primarily for female patients made of relatively elastic and padded material. The present invention is designed to put pressure on the Pfannenstiel incisional area to prevent swelling through the use of a primary fastener and cross straps. Cross straps are fixedly attached to the midline section of the binder and removably attach to the sides of the binder at an angle to apply the appropriate pressure to the incisional area. The invention is designed with pockets to accommodate hold hot or cold packs in the incisional area, pain relief devices, sandbags or other hard or soft support structures to apply additional pressure, or drainage receptacles.
