  • Patent number: 7251860
Abstract: A window operator handle securable to a casement window operating drive shaft is described. The handle is movable between an operating position to a folded position. The handle has a body housing that has a cavity which includes an operating mechanism. The operating mechanism has an assembly body secured to the housing, a pivotal member positioned in a first section of the assembly body and a sliding member positioned in at least a second portion of the assembly body. The pivotal member is adapted to pivot from a first position to a second position as the handle is moved from a first position to a second position. The pivotal member is held in one position and the other position by the sliding member. The sliding member is retained in contact with the pivotal member by a spring means in said assembly body.

  • Patent number: 7216564
Abstract: A slot cover for an apparatus, the apparatus having a moving carriage and a member connected to the carriage which travels in a slot. The elongated hollow member is defined by a top member, a bottom member and a pair of side members. Each side member has a connection member extending therefrom and a slot cover joining the connection member. The carriage has a cover guide connected thereto which moves with the carriage. The cover guide causes the connecting member to become separated from the slot cover as the cover guide travels along the slot. The separated portion of the slot cover is pressed into engagement with the connection member as the cover guide continues to travel along the slot.

  • Patent number: 7210189
Abstract: The present model refers to a wiper blade arrangement, wherein said blade acts on the surface of a windshield, said blade having a blade body formed as a single piece by welding, bonding, fitting or coextrusion of two different profiled materials, resulting in a single body having a curved shape throughout its length to allow uniform distribution of the load applied by the arm of the wiper. The blade and the arm are joined together by a sequential central support, made of metallic or plastic material, or, alternatively, by an enclosing central support, joining the blade body through a metal vertebra. The blade body has alternative constructive arrangements in its upper region, having a symmetric or asymmetric spoiler, as well as an alternative constructive arrangement with no spoiler at all, but only a convex bulging, leading to improved distribution of the airflow on the blade.

  • Patent number: 7194435
Abstract: A method, system and apparatus for obtaining a bond is disclosed. The invention employs a computer system that has a work station in communication with a server to provide information on a contractor that is required by a surety over the computer system. The server is provided with owner/obligee information concerning a bond over the network A surety is selected to provide the bond and the identity of the surety is presented over said computer network. The type of bond sought is identified. Approval of the bond is requested over the computer network and a decision on the bond request is obtained over the network. The approval decision includes an authorization code that is presented at a bid letting along with the contractor's bid. The authorization code permits an owner/obligee to view an approved bond through the computer network.
