Abstract: The present invention provides a novel process for manufacturing N-(polyoxyalkyl)-N-(alkyl) amines. The process is characterized by reacting a polyetheramine in which the amine groups are predominantly primary in character with a low molecular weight, sterically hindered alcohol in the presence of an appropriate catalyst, such as nickel using specific reaction conditions.

Abstract: Vents for molds can be improved if, in place of a single relatively large vent opening, there is used a vent which has a plurality of relatively smaller vent openings in which the cumulative cross-sectional area of the relatively smaller vent openings are approximately the same as that of the relatively larger vent opening it replaces. It was also found that the vents have a more efficient self-cleaning capability if the ratio of the depth of each vent opening to the cross-sectional diameter of the vent opening is about 1 or less.

Abstract: A method is described for producing dispersions of polyurea and the like in polyols of increased stability by polymerizing an amine and an isocyanate in the presence of an aminoalcohol, typically an aminopolyol, having the following formula: ##STR1## wherein A and A' are individually connective atoms which may be same or different, and are selected from the group consisting of carbon and oxygen or combinations thereof with hydrogen atoms or the like satisfying the valences; B is a member selected from the group consisting of nitrogen, NR, R being alkyl or aryl, or CR', R' being hydrogen, alkyl or aryl; D is a member selected from the group consisting of ##STR2## wherein a has a value of one to four; X is a member selected from the group consisting of OH, NH.sub.
