The adaptor includes a passage which aligns with the opening in the tooth and the fastening member. The fastening member passes through the aligned opening of the tooth, the passage of the adaptor and into the fastening receptacle for securing the tooth to the adaptor.
Abstract: A plate heat exchanger comprising plates (21, 31) interconnected by soldering and adapted to exchange heat between a high and a low temperature fluid may be designed to improve the cooling of the parts of the plates located near inlets (3) for the high temperature fluid by providing separate fluid channels (23, 26) in pairs of plates (21, 31) guiding low temperature fluid, said separate channels (23, 26) at least partly surrounding said inlets (3) for the high temperature fluid.

Abstract: A starting system for a small-sized engine is described which achieves downsizing, light-weight, and cost reduction of the system, prevents entry of dust or foreign substances at the time of assembly, and achieves easy assembly of a motor. The starting system for a small-sized engine includes a recoil starting system and a motor starting system integrated in a starter case, in which the motor starting system has a configuration in which a pinion is mounted on an output shaft of a reducer motor by an one-way clutch of a needle bearing and the pinion is engaged with a starting gear 6 of an engine, and the starter case has a configuration in which an inner lid is secured to a crankcase of the engine together by a screw and the inner lid has a joint portion with respect to the crankcase and a mounting seat for the reducer motor on the outside thereof.
Abstract: Biofeedback training can materially reduce the frequency and/or severity of seizures in sufferers from epilepsy, notably those resistant to treatment by way of therapeutic drugs. By training sufferers to decrease their galvanic skin response, which generally corresponds to an increase in vigilance or awareness, it is found that after such training, the frequency or severity of seizures is reduced, and in particular that by recollecting the training sessions, some patients can reduce the severity of, or avoid, an impending epileptic seizure.
Abstract: The unwinding device comprises: a rotating element (3) with supports (13, 15) for at least two reels (B1; B2; B3); a splicing member (31, 33, 35) to join a first web material (N1) coming from an expiring reel (B1) to the initial free end (T) of a second web material (N2) wound on a new reel (B2). At least one mechanical member (21) is associated with each support (13; 15), to retain the initial free end (T) of the reel disposed on the support, to hold the initial free end until splicing of the two web materials.
Abstract: A foldable, rechargeable light emitting diode (LED) pocket light is disclosed. The light includes a first compartment, a second compartment and a hinge element. The first compartment has a housing, a plurality of LED lights, a rotatable hinge, and a hook for hanging the light. The second compartment includes a housing, a member for receiving the rotatable hinge and a power source. The light also includes an activating member and circuitry for activating the LED lights.
Abstract: A method for compressing font instruction data. The method includes analyzing a set of pixel-per-em values and fractional pixel shifts contained in font instruction for each glyph in a font data set to construct a database of values. The pixel-per-em values and fractional pixel shifts are converted into operational codes and argument values and these values are compressed into a compressed data stream including a series of multiple-bit words representing font instruction specifications for each glyph in the font data. In addition, fixed environmental variable values are set for each glyph based on the font instruction data. When a glyph is to be rendered using the compressed font instruction, the compressed instruction is decompressed and only relevant multiple-bit word or words corresponding to font instruction specifications for the respective glyph are executed, but not any of the 16-bit words corresponding to font instruction for the fixed environmental values.
Abstract: A machine for packaging groups of products ordered in one or more layers, which includes a magazine for the supply of the group of products; apparatus for supplying a packaging sheet the sheet being set vertically to a front face of the product, a pusher for unloading the product; a first-folding spindle set downstream of the wrapping sheet; a pair of horizontal conveyors, set on top of one another, set downstream of the first-folding spindle; a vertical folder, which operates in the short space between the folding spindle and the pair of conveyors; and apparatus to superimpose on the bottom of the product the last transverse end flaps of the packaging sheet; and apparatus for fixing the bottom flaps.
Abstract: To orient groups of products to be packaged in a plastic film the groups (G) are wrapped in lengths of film and fed between two series of opposite conveyor belts (211, 212). Each series of belts comprises several parallel belts controlled at proportionally variable speeds to cause the group (G) to rotate through approximately 90° about an axis orthogonal to the direction of feed.
Abstract: The machine comprises a mandrel (4), a winding member (7) to helically wind said strips of web material about said mandrel and form a continuous tube; and rotating disk-shaped cutter (25), cooperating with said mandrel (4), to cut the continuous tube (T) into individual tubular products (M). The disk-shaped cutter (25) is carried by a rotating arm (23).
Abstract: A device or tool setter has the purpose of setting the position of a support bar, adjustably connected to a grinding machine, in relation to a rotatable grindstone of the machine for obtaining a desired edge angle of a tool supported for grinding by the support bar. The device is provided with discs for defining two contact points with the grindstone and a hole for connection to the support bar.
Abstract: The invention relates to an absorbent paper product, such as a napkin or tissue, including at least two tissue paper plies which are superposed and joined, cut or precut into a desired format and connected to one another at least over a segment of a peripheral zone. The plies are joined along the segment by marking patterns without resort to glueing and at least one ply is fitted with embossing patterns in a central zone. Abstract: The process for suppressing the growth of green algae in aqueous systems, such as lakes or rivers, comprises introducing carbon dioxide, preferably industrially produced carbon dioxide, into the water to be treated, thereby acidifying the water and suppressing the growth of green algae and promoting the growth of diatoms. The carbon dioxide can be produced by industry. Thus disposal of such industrially produced gases for acidification of waters serves for cleaning water and leads at the same time to clean air.
