Abstract: A powdered seed treatment applicator for evenly applying a powdered seed treatment to seeds to be dispensed and planted by a planting machine includes a container, a shaft, and a motor for rotating said shaft in the container. A dispensing element having a plurality of openings is positioned at a bottom of the container. Dispensing bristles are coupled to the shaft and contact the openings as the shaft rotates to urge powdered seed treatment out of the container through the openings while preventing clogging of the openings. Augers and paddles are utilized to provide agitation of the seed treatment, prevent clumping, and facilitate efficient dispensing of the powdered seed treatment within the container. An adjustable dispensing portion is also provided.

Abstract: A protective covering for a ladder consisting of two portions of a protective material on either side of an elastic portion of material. The protective covering is attached along the edges of the protective covering by cords or hook and loop fastening straps.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a hand held label removal apparatus which provides a safe, reliable means for removing labels and safety seals from containers. A trigger actuated needle like cutter is manually exposed to penetrate the surface of a label and thereby remove it from the surface of a container. In addition, the cutter may be used to remove foil seals and plastic packaging found on many consumer packaging. Designed to be made from various colors of plastic, the apparatus provides a simple, inexpensive means for the user to remove labels from recyclable containers. Also, when the label is not in use, the cutter automatically retracts, thereby, preventing accidental harm to a person.

Abstract: A main member includes two opposing sides and a first end which is dipsosed opposite a second end. A side member depends from each of the sides. A handle insert depends from the first end, the handle insert configured to fit over a handle of an oven door. The side members are configured to extend along the sides of the oven.

Abstract: An enclosure includes a hollow robe disposed at a first end thereof and extending outwardly there-from. A collapsible bulb is attached to a second end of the enclosure for drawing atmosphere into the enclosure through the hollow robe when the bulb is squeezed and released. The enclosure further includes a viewing aperture. An indicating strip is disposed in the enclosure such that the strip is in environmental communication with the interior of the enclosure and viewable through the viewing aperture from outside of the enclosure. The indicating strip is configured to change in appearance when gases indicating the presence of food contamination are absorbed by the strip.

Abstract: A gum dispenser includes a substantially rectangular, box shaped container having a platform therein. The platform is disposed substantially parallel to a first wall and a second wall of the container. When sticks of gum are positioned between the platform and the second wall of the container, a spring urges the platform against the sticks of gum, and a leading stick of gum is urged against the second wall of the container. The second wall of the container includes a track, with an operator slidably engaged therein. When a user slides the operator toward a slot in the lid of the dispenser, a seat of the operator engages a short edge of the leading stick of gum and pushes the gum partially through the slot, thereby dispensing the gum. The container further includes a base with a notch therein for limiting movement of the operator in a direction away from the lid, so that the operator remains engaged within the track.

Abstract: A panel portion includes at least two side pieces attached thereto, each of the side pieces containing a side piece notch and a side piece aperture. Two outer legs each contain an outer leg aperture and an outer leg bolt aperture. Two inner legs each contain an inner leg notch and an inner leg aperture. A bolt connects the outer leg to the inner leg, the bolt disposed within the outer leg bolt aperture and the inner leg aperture. A crossmember is attached to each of the side pieces and the panel portion. A joining piece is attached within each of the inner leg notches. A dowel is disposed within each of the outer leg apertures and each of the side piece apertures. Each of the inner legs has an inner leg top width edge opposite and parallel to an inner leg bottom width edge, and an inner leg bevel perpendicular to the inner leg top width edge.

Abstract: A motor is disposed within a housing. The motor includes a motor shaft. A spring includes a small diameter end and a large diameter end. The motor shaft is inserted into the small diameter end of the spring such that the spring tightly engages the motor shaft. A hook is positioned on a free end of the spring. A spring wire is connected to the housing. A flexible member engages the spring wire and the hook. The motor is connected to an alternating polarity direct current power source for rotating the motor shaft in alternating directions, thereby coiling the flexible member in alternating directions to trap hair within coils formed by the flexible member, then pull the hair, and then release the hair. The alternating polarity direct current power source is manually switched to turn the motor on and off. The alternating polarity direct current power source includes at least one electronic circuit to convert incoming line voltage alternating current to lower voltage alternating polarity direct current.

Abstract: Two net support assemblies each comprise a sleeve and a telescoping member configured to slidingly fit within the sleeve. A net is configured to be stretched between the net support assemblies. The sleeves are each separably attachable to a plate such that the sleeves and the telescoping members extend substantially upwardly from the plate when the apparatus is assembled and ready for use. A floor stand assembly is separably attachable to the plate. A sand bag is separably attachable to the plate to provide stability to the apparatus.

Abstract: A cover includes a top panel and a bottom panel configured to encase a generally rectangular pad, leaving an opening at a first end of the cover. The cover further includes a flap having a communicating edge between the flap and the top panel, the communicating edge being positioned at the first end of the cover. The flap includes two sides substantially parallel to each other at the communicating edge, the sides extending in parallel relationship to each other for a distance at least equal to the thickness of the pad, the sides then extending in converging relationship toward a distal end of the flap.

Abstract: A computerized telecommunications system is provided whereby a user, such as a traveler, may program a navigational course and then receive dynamically modified audio and visual feedback regarding a present navigational status position while proceeding through the programmed navigational course. The system receives a satellite transmitted signal which represents a predetermined static position along a navigational route. When the traveler coincides with a static position en route, the system utilizes this transmitted signal to dynamically modify and thereby update the previous navigational status position that was stored prior to receiving the current transmitted signal.

Abstract: A seat includes first slots therein for drawing air from the vicinity of a toilet rim into the seat. A second slot is disposed at one end of the seat and is in environmental communication with the first slots. The seat includes a sleeve at one end for receiving a tube to become pivotal about the tube. Anchors secure the the tube to a toilet. A tube slot within the tube is configured to align with the second slot when the seat is in a closed position. The sleeve is configured to cover the tube slot when the seat is in an open position. The tube includes an open first end. A duct fits the first end of the tube. A fan connects to the duct and discharges air to a suitable location.

Abstract: A first set of cubes has a first set of consonants printed thereon. A second set of cubes has a second set of consonants printed thereon which occur less commonly in english words than the first set of consonants. A third set of cubes has vowels printed thereon. Score cards and a timer are inlcuded.

Abstract: A microprocessor acts upon instructions received from a random access memory and a read only memory. A removable hard drive contains musical selections digitally stored thereon. The hard drive stores data in the random access memory and retrieves data from the random access memory as directed by the microprocessor. A monitor displays a list of available musical selections and a list of the customer's selections. A keyboard is used by the customer to provide input to the microprocessor. A card reader retrieves electronic information from a payment card and sends payment information to the microprocessor. A CD writer and dispenser is controlled by the microprocessor to retrieve a blank compact disk from a CD storage, record the customer's musical selections onto the compact disk, and dispense the compact disk.

Abstract: Two posts have a thin, flexible barrier attached there-between. The barrier spans a hard playing surface which may be a driveway. Each post is supported from the ground in a substantially vertical position. The barrier includes a cord laced through grommets along the top edge of the barrier to hold the barrier in position. Two players use paddles to hit a projectile back and forth. A method of playing the paddle ball game is disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrical circuit for use in an alarm system. The circuit and alarm system being in electrical communication with an electrical power source. The alarm system has a detector configured to generate a first signal and a second signal in response to triggering by an individual. The alarm system further has an announcer adapted to produce an IN announcement in response to an IN signal and an OUT announcement in response to an OUT signal. The circuit comprises a first circuit portion which is responsive to the first signal for generating the IN signal to activate the announcer; and a second circuit portion which is responsive to the second signal for generating the OUT signal to activate the announcer.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a temperature controlled seat cover assembly, the assembly dimensioned and adapted to, in part, be releasably fitted over a seat and seat back portion of a vehicle seat to heat a user in contact therewith. The assembly includes an outer fabric liner defining an internal space; a fluid conduit, a condenser, a pump assembly at least one heating element disposed within the internal space. The heating element adapted to generate heat from resistance to electrical current therethrough; fire proof insulative material disposed within the internal space between the heating element and the outer fabric liner; straps attached to the outer fabric liner for releasably securing the assembly to a vehicle seat. A switch assembly having an adapter adapted to be plugged into a cigarette lighter within the interior of an automobile. The switch assembly provided to supply electrical current from the cigarette lighter to either the heater element or the condenser and pump assembly.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a fire isolation device for a free standing structure. This device includes a left tarp and right tarp fabricated from a fire resistant material. The left tarp and right tarp are of a size to completely enclose the free standing structure. Attached to the left tarp and right tarp is a support structure, which is capable of moving from an upward position where the left tarp and the right tarp completely enclose the free standing structure to a downward position where the left and right tarp expose the free standing structure. This device also includes a moving mechanism for moving the plurality of support members from the downward position to the upward position.
