The percarbonate has increased storage stability in the composition of the invention.

The compositions display low soil resistivity and are formulated to provide in-use pH values of from 7 to about 9.5. Additional ingredients may include detersive surfactants, emulsifiers, chelants, and nonsoap pH reducing ingredients. Both granular and liquid compositions are provided.

The high cloud point nonionic surfactant comprises an ethoxylated surfactant derived from the reaction of a monohydroxy alcohol containing from about 10 to about 16 carbon atoms, with from about 6 to about 15 moles of ethylene oxide per mole of alcohol on an average basis and having a hydrophile-lipophile balance value within the range of from about 12 to about 14.
