Abstract: An adjustable archery bow lock for an archery bow with bow strings, or a limb with a cam or a pulley, includes a locking first frame with first and second rod receiving apertures there through. A lock mechanism is on the first frame with a moveable and securable locking index pin. A parallel second frame has first and second rods that are adapted to capture and immobilize the bow strings, or the cam or pulley with the limb. The rods pass through the receiving apertures. One of the rods has a series of aligned indentations, teeth or serrations. The rods are secured to the first frame with the locking index pin secured into one of the indentations or between the teeth or serrations to prevent drawing or firing of the bow.

Abstract: Highly purified Stevioside, Rebaudioside A and a purified sweet steviol glycoside mixture were prepared from sweet glycoside extracts obtained from Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni leaves. The resulting sweeteners are suitable as non-calorie, non-cariogenic, non-bitter, non-lingering sweeteners, which may be advantageously applied in foods, beverages, and milk products.

Abstract: An animal husbandry tunnel door with adjoining extrusions for closing a tunnel ventilation opening typically in a broiler house has opposing faces with top, bottom and side edges. The faces sandwich an insulation layer. The adjoining extrusions have a first door top, bottom and side extrusion, along with a second door side edge extrusion. The first door top, bottom and side edge extrusions each have parallel inner prongs with barbs and adjacent parallel outer flanges forming two slots therebetween for receiving the top, bottom and side edges of the opposing door faces as the inner prongs with barbs pass into the insulation and are held thereat. The second door side edge extrusion has parallel inner prongs adjacent parallel outer flanges forming two slots therebetween for receiving the other side face edges as the inner prongs with barbs pass into the insulation and are held thereat.

Abstract: Glucosyl stevia compositions are prepared from steviol glycosides of Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni. The glucosylation was performed by cyclodextrin glucanotransferase using the starch as source of glucose residues. The short-chain glucosyl stevia compositions were purified to >95 % content of total steviol glycosides. The compositions can be used as sweetness enhancers, flavor enhancers and sweeteners in foods, beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

Abstract: A method for identifying a person (200) by capturing an image of the iris producing an anamorphic transformation of the image along a horizontal axis and then a vertical axis to code it in the form of one or two models. The model is compared with reference models stored in a database to determine the identity of the person. The acquisition device captures the image of the iris through means of optical deformation to produce the anamorphic transformation of the image and then codes the image into the models.

Abstract: A system including a mask to detect an EEG signal and to deliver a gas, the mask having a forehead support extending from the body and adapted to contact a forehead surface of the patient during use, the forehead support having a plurality of sensors located thereon for detecting electrophysiological signals of the patient, with the plurality of sensors including EEG sensors positioned proximate to FP1/FP2 standard electrode placement positions of the patient, a gas delivery device in fluid communication with the mask and having an adjustable gas output, and a control system for determining a sleep stage from EEG signals detected by the mask and adjusting a gas delivery device based on the sleep stage.

The synchronization and traffic channels are transmitted to at least one other mobile station so the first mobile station can synchronize with the other mobile station and read the traffic channel.

Abstract: A chest compression system and method of use for respiratory therapies such as cystic fibrosis, including an air flow generator, a pulse frequency control component having a fan blade for producing a series of air pulses communicated to a patient-worn garment during a therapy session. The system further includes one or more patient physiologic sensors capable of capturing patient information during the therapy session. The sensors may include a blood oximeter or a mouthpiece used to evaluate pulmonary function. An airway congestion monitoring system provides airway and lung congestion trend analysis. Adjustments are made to the series of air pulses based on a patient's therapy session data.

Abstract: A filter shaking assembly for a floor surface maintenance machine including a filter assembly in fluid communication with the debris hopper and having a cylindrical filter held against a shaker plate. The shaker plate is vibrated by a shaker motor at least partially positioned within an interior of the filter and eccentric mass to remove an accumulation of debris from the surface of the filter. The eccentric mass may include two eccentric masses positioned on a common shaft of the shaker motor.

A multi-function retainer ring having a plurality of finger-like extensions or tabs with at least a portion of the extensions being inwardly bent. The inwardly bent tabs engage and retain a captured wire or conduit upon assembly. Other tabs function to engage an inner wall of a knock-out hole of an outlet box upon insertion of the connector assembly into the outlet box. A method of connecting a wire to a junction box using the connector assembly is also disclosed.

Abstract: An improved severe duty grapple for attachment onto the end of a dipper stick of a backhoe has an arcuate-shaped upper jaw with an inner end and a backside. The upper jaw is pivotally attached near its inner end on its backside to the end of a dipper stick and a double action actuator or cylinder for operative pivotal movement of the upper jaw relative to the dipper stick. An arcuate-shaped lower jaw is provided with an inner end and a backside. The lower jaw is attached near its inner end on its backside to the dipper stick by a linkage for operative pivotal movement of the upper jaw relative to the lower jaw. A hollow tubular pivot is attached to the inner end of one of the jaws with open opposing ends. Two lug plates are mounted on the inner end of the other jaw each with an eyelet. The eyelets are alignable with the open ends of the tubular pivot. A pivot pin is passed through the tubular pivot and eyelets and secured thereat.

Abstract: A method of identifying an individual in which captured images are encrypted by a transformation function and superimposed over previously recorded encrypted images. The superimposition image thus formed is used for identity verification. If the verification is negative a looping step repeats the process until positive verification is achieved.
