  • Patent number: 8195795
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention relate to a method and a system for detecting unwanted conversational media session data. In accordance with one aspect of the invention, a method of detecting unwanted conversation media session data according to some embodiments of the invention may include calculating two or more progressive similarity scores each with respect to a different instant during a progress of a real-time conversational media session, wherein each of said scores is associated with a similarity between the conversational media session's media data that was available at the associated instant and a reference data item corresponding to media data of a previous conversational media session, and evaluating progressive similarity between the real-time conversational media session and the reference data item based upon the two or more progressive similarity scores.

  • Patent number: 7985315
Abstract: A process by which many kinds of unstretched films comprising a thermoplastic resin are produced each in a small amount and high yield. A thermoplastic resin (A) to be formed into an unstretched film and another thermoplastic resin (B) are separately melted by heating. The thermoplastic resin (B) is introduced to each edge part of a T-die (2) for extrusion. The two resins are ejected and extruded on a casting roll so that the thermoplastic rosin (B) is disposed on the side of each edge of the thermally melted thermoplastic resin (A). Thus, an unstretched film (20) is formed which comprises the thermoplastic resin (A) and the thermoplastic resin (B) disposed on the side of each edge of the resin (A). Thereafter, the parts constituted of the thermoplastic resin (B) are removed y cutting to form a target unstretched film (20) consisting only of the thermoplastic resin (A).

  • Patent number: 7828387
Abstract: A headrest storage recession of seat back in an upside-recessed-and-headrest-storage type of seat has, provided at the backward side thereof, an integral combination of a cover element and an upward extension of a back board disposed behind the seat back. Namely, the cover element is connected continuously with the back board upward extension, without any connection line therebetween. A thin hinge portion is defined in boundary between those cover element and upward extension, and the cover element is folded relative to such thin hinge portion and securely attached to the upward extension, thereby constituting a backward wall of the headrest storage recession.

  • Patent number: 7712219
Abstract: In a process for the aligning of the tooth spaces of a workpiece with precut teeth, which is set up on the work spindle of a gear finishing machine, the workpiece (1) is brought into no-backlash double flank mesh with a pilot gear (6). The workpiece (1) is rotated, and during this rotation both the angular position of the tooth space centre lines of the pilot gear (6) and the centre distance between the pilot gear (6) and the workpiece (1) are measured. This allows the workpiece (1) to be tested with respect to radial run-out, flank material allowance, helix angle, and any possible irregularities.

  • Patent number: 7645864
Abstract: The present invention provides an E-type crystal of N-demethyl-N-isopropyl-12-methoxy-11-oxo-8,9-anhydroerythromycin A-6,9-hemiacetal fumarate having strong diffraction peaks at diffraction angles (2?) of 5.6° and 10.4° as measured by powder X-ray diffractometry, which is prepared by treating a C-type crystal of the compound in a mixed solvent of ethyl acetate and water at 20° C. to 40° C., and a D-type crystal prepared via the E-type crystal. These crystals have a reduced content of residual solvent and high suitability for formulation.

  • Patent number: 7644525
Abstract: Steam iron comprising a sole (1) in thermal communication with a heating body (5) equipped with a steam chamber (53), the steam chamber (53) communicating with a reservoir (7) by means of a supply circuit comprising a flow control valve (10) whose degree of opening is controlled by a thermally deformable element (16) in thermal communication with the heating body (5), characterized in that the opening of the control valve (10) is braked, beginning at an intermediate temperature, by a stabilizing element (18) that exerts a force that opposes the force generated by the thermally deformable element (16).

  • Patent number: 7622751
Abstract: A light-emitting diode includes: a light-transmitting substrate; a light-emitting element mounted on the upper surface of the light-transmitting substrate; and a light-transmitting resin that seals the light-emitting element. The outer surface of the light-transmitting resin is covered with a reflecting layer formed from a silver or aluminum thin film. The light emitted from the light-emitting element is reflected from the reflecting layer, and the reflected light is guided out from the lower surface of the light-transmitting substrate in an efficient manner with minimum wastage of light intensity, and thus, high luminance light can be emitted.
