Abstract: A pre-manufactured joist and beam support for concrete walls to be poured, particularly those utilizing a permanent, secondary non-structural material as forms essentially adjacent to the concrete, comprised of a U shaped rigid member, rigid anchor members extending therefrom and so as to cause a sufficiently large hole to be created in the secondary material in which the support is inserted and which essentially does not interfere with the flow of concrete being poured.
Abstract: An apparatus for forming glass coiled tubes from a source of glass in which a molten glass thread is drawn, and a method for forming glass coiled tubes. The apparatus has a shaping mandrel having a first end and an opposing second end, having a desired shape for receiving around it the molten glass thread such that when the thread is drawn about the desired shape, a formed coil is developed that essentially takes a desired shape from the shaping mandrel; a block simultaneously applies the newly formed coil to the back of the formed tube and moves the formed tube in a direction towards the second end in response to the additional molten glass thread drawn to the coil; a hook engages the molten glass thread and a rotating motor rotates the hook.
Abstract: A method for universally connecting proprietary or non-proprietary biofeedback data streams to multimedia content in a VRML environment, having the steps of acquiring the data streams with a predefined threshold value converting the data streams to values between approximately 0 and approximately 1 (where those values above approximately 0.5 represent success and those below 0.5 represent failure), and hooking the values to an eventIn of a node having a corresponding eventOut associated with it, and passing those values in a form suitable for interpolation.
Abstract: An adjustable crowfoot device removably attachable to an extension device, for gripping and either loosening or tightening an object in response to a turning motion of the extension device, and having a fixed claw member with a pinion receiving hole, an adjustable claw member, rack and pinion for slidably connecting the adjustable claw member to the fixed claw member where the pinion is rotatably connected within the pinion receiving hole and where the adjustable claw member has a rack having teeth connected to the pinion such that the teeth extend away from the flat surface between the two flat surfaces of the claw so as to provide a continuity of mating area.
Abstract: A continuous chain link cutting mechanism for agricultural combines and the like, having a continuous chain comprised of interconnecting chain link sections, having alternate outwardly extending cutting blades comprising the top link of alternate sections, rock guard having blade receiving slit therein, recess for receiving a channel guide member, a polyethylene channel guide member in which the cutting chain moves in a continuous fashion, wherein the channel guide has a front top channel edge flush with the bottom of the rock guard slit. The rock guard is attached to an elongated attachment bar, and top guide, centered between alternating rock guard is affixed to the attachment bar.
Abstract: A Sectional Conduit that would enhance ones home or office. The Sectional Conduit promotes a touch of class and elegance to your surrounding, as well as promoting safety.
Abstract: A bale lifting device for use with flatbed trucks has a rigid bed member, recessed portions at each corner for receiving a portion of a pair of hinged arms, a rigid housing hingedly attached to the truck bed, two rigid arms, each having two members attached at an angle, with respect to the other, one portion of which is received in the recessed portion of the bed, and where the housing is hydraulically hinged to the bed so as to provide for movement of the arms to and from a first lowered position having the arms extending outwardly from the rear end of the bed, to a second stored position having the arms rest on top of the bed without regard to any hinged position of the arms, and so as to allow the arms to rest on the bed and act as siderails to the bed; a pair of spinners having holding shafts angularly attached is removably attached to the rigid arms to create a functional multiuse flatbed with hinged arms that are both flush and that act as siderails.
Abstract: A combination houseboat/camper that is trailerable, and that has pontoons that are both easily removable and/or capable of being stored during travel on top. A removable motor and cable, in combination with the removable rotational pin about which the pontoons rotate, allow the pontoons to be moved to four different positions, including easy removal of the pontoons in low ceiling garages.
Abstract: A method for forming a plurality of holes, creating profiles, in a plurality of vinyl layers using a hollow portion of an RF sealing die and for removing the profiles from the die using a base plate punch and a removal means.
