Abstract: A high bay induction fluorescent lighting fixture having a multiple of nested circular lamps suspended on a post below the ballasts therefor and enclosed in a reflector.
Abstract: A single wire rope reeving system for a twin lift cargo container handling crane for hoisting and lowering a pair of containers in side-by-side relation independently or simultaneously.
Abstract: A method for nonintrusive scanning of cargo containers quay side while the containers are being transferred between ship and land transportation utilizing a mobile cargo container handling buffer crane having a bridge crane mounted thereon for transferring cargo containers between a ship and land transportation with an intermediate transfer position whereby a suspended container can be noninvasively inspected by a longitudinally reciprocating container traversing radiation emitter apparatus.

Abstract: A method for energy storage and recovery for load hoisting equipment driven by a diode controlled DC motor and having an inverter controlling an induction motor which drives a flywheel whereby, utilizing rest power such as reverse power from the DC motor when lowering a load and unused power at small load or idle to accelerate rotation of a flywheel, whereby energy is stored, and the system is reversed when a load is lifted and power is consumed whereby the flywheel causes the induction motor to generate power and deliver it to the DC motor.
Abstract: A method for energy storage and recovery for load hoisting equipment powered by an induction hoist motor controlled by a first inverter and having a dual inverter controlling a capacitor utilizing rest power such as reverse power generated from the motor when lowering a load, and unused power at small load or idle, to charge the capacitor whereby energy is stored in the capacitor and the system is reversed when a load is lifted and power is consumed whereby the capacitor is discharged to deliver power to the hoist motor.
Abstract: A scuba diver weight carrying backpack having a packboard for carrying a multiple of rectangular based weights thereon with a cover over the weights and longitudinal parallel rods engaged with the cover from top to bottom and projecting through aligned rows of the weights, the weights being held on the rods by a quick release draw pins engaged with the cover.
Abstract: A wire rope reeving support system for a cargo container handling crane having a transport trolley mounted for reciprocation along a horizontal gantry thereof and having a wire rope load hoisting system for the transport trolley wherein a mechanism is provided mid span of said gantry for supporting the wire ropes of at least the load hoisting system and permitting the transport trolley to actuate the rope system to let the trolley pass there by without mechanical interference.

Abstract: A universal and reversible disposable ECG sensor positioning mask and method for use with electrocardiogram diagnostic equipment for left and right chest ECGs in which the mask has at least nine sensors, six of which can be used at any one time to provide up to four different sizes to accommodate varying sized human torsos.
Abstract: A fiber optic cable enclosure having a rectangular box with a sliding cover and containing a cable reel disposed and supported therein on protuberances projecting from the bottom of the reel with the side panels of the enclosure supported in C section channels for horizontal sliding intermittent reciprocating motion whereby a cable wound on said reel can be extracted and utilized as a jumper cable for establishing emergency connections in a telecommunications network.
Abstract: A universal disposable ECG sensor positioning device and method for use with electrocardiogram diagnostic equipment in which the mask has six sensors, two of which are movable, to provide four different sizes to accommodate varying sized human torsos.
Abstract: A buffer crane for supplementing a quay crane operation and formed to operate thereunder with a landing deck for supporting a multiple of cargo containers above dockside cargo transport operations and for moving cargo containers therebetween by means of a slewing jib crane secured to one edge of said landing deck.
