    Abstract: A boot for a gliding sport, consisting of a bootie with a soft upper (1) and of an intermediate rigid sole (4) itself at least partially covered by a flexible walking sole (9), and provided with a transverse metal bar (6) for connection to a binding. The boot further has bearing surfaces on either side of the bar. At least in the foot sole region, the bearing surface is a projection (7) of the intermediate rigid sole.
