Abstract: There is disclosed a plurality of extensions for dental implants allowing a dental surgeon to maintain a minimum number of parts in his trays to carry on an effective, successful practice, thus eliminating the need to carry the wide variety of parts offered and carried by surgeons to meet the needs of his practice. The surgeon is only required to carry two different parts, the basic implant body and also the extension that will match that particular implant body. With this combination of elements, the surgeon will be able to place many different implant lengths with a much reduced inventory and corresponding costs to the practitioner.

Abstract: A baseball pitcher's training device for training a pitcher in controlling his body mechanics during the pitch preparation phase as well as the delivery and follow-through phases of baseball pitching. The training device includes a collapsible balance beam that can readily be shortened to improve its portability, shipping and storage and is adjustable in length to accommodate users of different height. The device is also provided with a removable mound that is tapered in a forward direction to give the user a feeling of actual mound use when positioned thereon.

Abstract: A multi-unit termination accessory for flashing certain through-wall openings in a building. The multi-unit termination accessory unit is thermo-formed in multiples of four with clearly delineated cutting lines for separating the multi-unit flashing member into four identical termination accessory units for use in corners of frame construction rough openings. This multi-unit forming permits multiple units to be formed in a single molding, thus reducing the time and cost per unit. Additionally, the individual termination accessory units are provided with a feature that permits their use with either full depth or partial depth windows thus increasing their versatility and acceptance by the construction industry.

Abstract: A disposable fast food box/container with a pair of semi-circular handles for convenient carrying and a drink holder therein. The handles include strap portions that are attached to the lid that allow a vehicle seat belt to be passed thereunder and serve to hold the lid in an open position close to the chest of the user. The lid includes a pair of side flaps that cooperate with the lid portion for directing any crumbs generated during eating into the box/container directly below thus eliminating the usual mess that occurs during eating in a vehicle. The drink holder includes a conical flexible wall portion that becomes inverted when engaged by the base of a drink container bringing the conical flexible wall into engagement with conical outer surface of the drink container to stabilize drink container therein.

Abstract: The invention allows the alignment of a towing vehicle to a trailer tongue bringing the towing vehicle into close alignment with the tongue thus permitting the tongue to be lowered onto the hitch ball to complete the connection. This alignment can be accomplished exclusively by the driver of the towing vehicle without outside assistance. The alignment device includes a telescopic mast that includes a mirror with a ball and socket connection for aligning the mirror to the tongue of the trailer. The alignment device includes a pair of mounting plates that have a plurality of mounting holes to allow the mounting to several different sized trailer tongues, namely, a four inch, six inch and an eight inch tongue. Once the connection of the tongue to the ball is made, the alignment device remains in the position set for future use.

Abstract: An integrated moisture/air barrier system that serves to mitigate the penetration of water and air around or through various types of exterior wall building sheathing products such as plywood, OSB, gypsum board, cement board, rigid foam boards and foil-faced composition products. The moisture/air barrier surface is preferably installed as a step in the manufacturing process for certain types of sheathing such as wood or gypsum-based products. However, it may also be installed in-situ in instances where the pre-coated units are not readily available or the factory surface needs to be supplemented at joints or terminations. The material used in forming the moisture barrier is urethane or urethane/silicone that is sprayed, squeegeed, applied by brush or roller and includes additives to aid the coating's workability and retard the growth of mold/fungi.

Abstract: A flag mast holder assembly that can accommodate the three most popular trailer hitch ballmount bore diameters BD, namely, 1.0 inch, 0.874 inch and 0.75 inch. Mast holder assembly includes a central bore for receiving the mast of a flag or pennant and is preferably made of aluminum. The mast holder assembly is provided with stainless steel flat washers, lock washer and securing nut. The provision of stainless steel components with the aluminum mast body will be highly resistant to corrosion and oxidation and thus provide an attractive addition to anyone's vehicle. The preferred material is aluminum with stainless components as described above, however, the entire assembly and attaching hardware could be made of nylon, Teflon or suitable non-corrosive plastic materials.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to an automatic mud flap retractor system for commercial dump trucks wherein the mud flaps are automatically activated into their raised position when the operator of the vehicle places the transmission gear in reverse during backingup of the truck to receive or discharge a load and lowered when the driver depresses a deactivating button in the cab. An indicator light in the cab of the vehicle is also activated to inform the driver that the mud flaps have been raised and it is now safe to discharge his load. The system utilizes a plurality of short stroke pistons/cylinders and a unique pulley and cable arrangement permitting the operating mechanism to be located directly above the mud flaps wherein the length of the cables required is kept to a minimum thus reducing the overall space requirements of the system. The operating mechanism is enclosed in a compact housing unit that is mounted to the vehicle utilizing the previously used non-retracting mud flap mounting bolts.

Abstract: An apparatus for the convenient storage of a cutting board in a kitchen cabinet and the method of installation thereof. The method involves three easy steps of marking the cabinet wall, cutting out the marked portion and placing a framed door and storage pocket unit into the opening formed by the removed portion and installing a plurality of screws into the frame and cabinet wall to secure the unit in place. The apparatus has a frame and hinged door that includes a storage pocket on the inside thereof for receiving a cutting board and is retractable to expose the cutting board for ready use. After use, the cutting board is returned to the pocket and the cutting board is stored out-of-the-way ready for future use. Two embodiments of the frame member are disclosed.

Abstract: A magnetic memo board system simulating in appearance a pushpin memo board comprising a memo board and at least one auxiliary member. The memo board is formed of a magnetizable material having surface ornamentation thereover simulating in appearance a cork material penetratable by the point of a conventional pushpin, the surface ornamentation being substantially transparent to a magnetic fields and having a frame or simulated frame border therearound. The auxiliary member simulates the appearance of a pushpin head when engaged with the memo board and is securely held thereon by a magnet therein.

Abstract: A closure having an integrally formed hook member that is received in a hook shaped recess on the upper surface of the closure when the hook member is in its stowed position. Release of the hook member is accomplished by applying an upward force on a release tab of the hook member permitting the hook member to spring into its operative position through a living hinge connection with the main body of the closure. The subject matter finds particular usefulness with the bottling industry, however, there are many other applications where it is desirable to provide suspension of its related container when not in use. The design of the closure is such that it can readily be accommodated by bottling machinery presently used in the bottling industry without any major modifications required.

Abstract: A u-shaped trailer frame that includes a drawbar that is connectable to a trailer hitch. The u-shaped frame includes forward holding means and also a pair of axle supports for the wheel axles of the greens mower once the wheels have been removed. The trailer includes a pair of wheels that have special mounts, allowing the frame to be positioned as close to ground as possible, thus eliminating the need for any pivot members to raise the greens mower as found in the prior art. A special offset draw bar configuration is also provided to allow the ground hugging trailer frame to be attached to a conventionally located trailer hitch mounting.

Abstract: A therapeutical soap for treating areas of human skin exposed to insect bites or the venom of marine organisms and poisonous plants contains an enzyme, exfoliating agent and a disinfectant. Use of the soap relieves the itching and swelling resulting from such bites or stings.

Abstract: A tool and parts cart is provided with a caster frame and three levels of storage area for both the tools required for a repair job and also the parts that are removed from a vehicle while the mechanic is undertaking the repairs. The lowermost level is a single large storage area that can accommodate larger parts, vehicle components and/or tools. Lowermost tray is provided with four walls to contain any items placed therein. Intermediate level is provided with three compartment, two side and forward, with the forward compartment recessed relative to the other two compartments, thus forming a U-shaped second level with an open central portion for accommodating large parts when placed in a vertical position. Uppermost level is provided with an open well that is formed by frame members to accommodate a removable tray. Removable tray is provided with handles for moving about and also a plurality of casters on the bottom thereof for moving the tray about when used on the floor during under the vehicle work.

Abstract: A screened patio enclosure is provided with primary and secondary structural members for retaining screening fabric and decorative inserts that are available in a variety of pleasing colors and patterns thus improving the aesthetic appearance of the interior of the enclosure. Additionally, the primary members include integral recesses for receiving load carrying insert members thus allowing the load capacity of the primary structural members to be increased incrementally by varying the number of metallic inserts added to the primary structural members. The primary structural members include post/columns and beams while the secondary structural members include horizontal and diagonal purlins and base anchoring members.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method for the disinfection and sterilization of material and surfaces contaminated with one or more members selected from the group consisting of bacteria and bacterial spores, comprising the steps of: (a) providing a biocidal fluid containing a mixture of effective amounts of a germinant and a germicide; and (b) contacting the material and surfaces contaminated with one or more members selected from the group consisting of bacteria and bacterial spores, with the biocidal fluid of step (a) for a time sufficient for disinfecting and sterilizing said material. The invention also provides a sterilizing composition suitable for killing and rendering spores lifeless comprising: (a) an effective amount of a germinating agent; (b) an effective amount of a germicide.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a novel beam and post/column construction which allows for a variety of decorative trim strips to be installed into grooves which are integrally formed in the outer surfaces of the beams and columns. Additionally, there is provision for selectively increasing the structural load capacity of the beam and column by insertion of one or more strengthening members into grooves located in the inner hollow portions thereof. The disclosure finds particular use in the construction of screened patio and pool enclosures. However, there are many other construction applications where the variable load capacity feature may be advantageously utilized to reduce the inventory normally required by a jobber.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a readily assembled pastry box that includes a pair of panels extending from opposite sides to form a pair of convenient carrying handles with a finger engaging slot therein, thus eliminating the need for string tying. The box is provided in blank form of conventional card stock and includes appropriate cuts and fold lines for convenient storage and easy assembly. It further includes multiple abutting side portions that interlock with latches to provide reinforcement and stability to protect the contents therein. Although referred to as a pastry box, it finds utility in carrying many other items as well. The unique handles allow for carrying its contents in a horizontal position without fear of damage during transit. The fold lines are optionally provided with slight indentations or perforations over portions thereof to facilitate the folding when assembling the box.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a baseball pitcher training device for training a pitcher in controlling his lower and upper body portions during the pitch preparation phase as well as the delivery and follow-through phase. The device comprises a portable balance beam and a simulated pitching “rubber” mounted thereon from which the pitcher initiates his pre-pitch movements. The balance beam provides a limited width foot landing area after pitch delivery to limit lower and upper body movement and ensure alignment with the plate to improve pitch accuracy. This embodiment is used primarily for pitch delivery from the stretch position. A second embodiment includes an enlarged mound platform area which is removably placed over the end of the balance beam/rubber area of the first embodiment to provide a more stable pitching area and is used for delivery from the full wind-up position.

Abstract: A release disc that is mounted on one end of a tissue roll holder and provides an easy, less stressful way of releasing a tissue roll holder after the tissue roll has been depleted and it is now time to install a fresh roll of tissue. The release disc is placed over either end of the roll holder on the reduced diameter portion prior to inserting the roll holder by placing one's fingers over the release disc to compress the roll holder sufficiently to clear the mounting support and insert it into the support recesses. The procedure is merely reversed for removal of the roll holder when it is time to add a new roll of tissue to the roll holder. The invention finds particular usefulness with persons of impaired dexterity or other infirmities. The release disc is installed without any required tools or modifications to the current roll holder assembly.
