  • Patent number: 8233331
Abstract: A compare circuit for comparing a first data word with a second data word includes a plurality of sub-circuits, each having a two-bit static compare stage and a dynamic complex logic stage; a dynamic compare node responsive to respective outputs of the sub-circuits; and an output latch that captures a comparison result in accordance with a logic state of the dynamic compare node. In an exemplary embodiment, a local clock generator provides a single controlling clock signal for clocking the output latch, precharging of the dynamic compare node, and clocking of the dynamic complex logic stage of the sub-circuits.

  • Patent number: 7502658
Abstract: An exemplary method for performing fabrication sequence analysis, the method comprising, defining a process group, wherein a process group includes fabrication processes in a fabrication sequence, determining fabrication process paths in the process group to define independent variables, wherein a process path is a plurality of fabrication equipment used to fabricate a particular semiconductor device in the fabrication sequence, receiving a dependent variable for the fabrication sequence, performing analysis of variance to calculate a p-value for the process group, determining whether the p-value is lower than a threshold value, identifying a poor process path responsive to determining that the p-value is lower than a threshold value, and outputting the identified poor process path.

  • Patent number: 7342312
Abstract: The semiconductor device has the CSP structure, and includes: a plurality of electrode pads formed on a semiconductor integrated circuit in order to input/output signals from/to exterior; solder bumps for making external lead electrodes; and rewiring. The solder bumps are arranged in two rows along the periphery of the semiconductor device. The electrode pads are arranged inside the outermost solder bumps so as to be interposed between the two rows of solder bumps. Each trace of the rewiring is extended from an electrode pad, and is connected to any one of the outermost solder bumps or any one of the inner solder bumps.

  • Patent number: 6929039
Abstract: A marine vessel overflow tank system for use in the hull of a marine vessel that has a fuel system including a fuel vent line connecting a fuel tank to a vent that communicates with the atmosphere. The system comprises a first vent line fitting adapted for direct parallel communication with the fuel vent line. The internal cross sectional area of the first vent line fitting is approximately the same size as the internal cross sectional area of the fuel vent line. The system also comprises a second vent line fitting adapted for direct parallel communication with the fuel vent line. The internal cross sectional area of the second vent line fitting is approximately the same size as the internal cross sectional area of the fuel vent line. The system further comprises a fuel expansion tank. The fuel expansion tank comprises a plurality of walls defining an enclosed chamber and a first restrictive orifice located in one the walls.

  • Patent number: 6236842
Abstract: An antenna tuning circuit 1 is tuned to a received RF signal, and outputs a signal into an RF amplifying circuit 2 for amplification. After amplification, the circuit 2 outputs a signal to an RF tuning circuit 3, which is then tuned to the supplied signal. Since the frequency of a local oscillation signal is set according to the frequency of an object station, the RF signal of an object station is converted by a mixing circuit 4 into an IF signal having a predetermined center frequency. Also, the tuning frequency of the antenna tuning circuit 1 is adjusted to match the frequency of an object station. When disturbance stations with strong field intensity are received, field intensity of a received signal exceeds a predetermined level and a dumping control circuit 9 is activated to generate a dumping signal. In response to the dumping signal, a dumping circuit 10 is turned on, as a result of which an output signal of the antenna tuning circuit 1 is attenuated.

  • Patent number: 6083052
Abstract: A connector including a plug, and outlet and a connecting block each of which provides enhanced performance by reducing crosstalk. The plug includes contacts having a reduced amount of adjacent area between neighboring contacts and a load bar that staggers the wires to be terminated to the contacts. An outlet which mates with the plug includes contacts positioned in a contact carrier so that adjacent area between neighboring contacts is reduced. A connecting block includes pairs of contacts wherein the distance between contacts in a pair is smaller than the distance between sets of pairs. The connecting block also includes an improved tip that reduces untwisting of wire coupled to the connecting block.
