    Abstract: The present invention relates to edible decorations which reproduce all types of patterns, including colored patterns. The purpose of these decorations is partially or totally to cover the cakes for which they are intended and with which they form a perfectly homogeneous whole. More precisely, the invention comprises in producing a printed decoration with five successive layers: a first layer of printed edible paper, and a second layer of a material for modifying the texture of the edible paper and sticking the first and third layers together. The third layer comprises of a material belonging to the group comprising almond paste and chocolate. The fourth layer is equivalent to the second layer, and the fifth layer is equivalent to the first layer. By virtue of this innovation, a printed decoration does not detract from the cake and remains supple and homogeneous.

The cable is fabricated in three stages including: i) stretching copper wires by a one-row or multi-row drawing machine; ii) passing the copper wires through a single or double torsion joining machine; wherein steps (i) and (ii) are performed in such manner as to result in a geometrically constructed joint which is sufficiently smooth and having slight undulations; iii) positioning the insulating thermoplastic cover concentrically around the conductor nucleus; and iv) extruding the thermoplastic cover around the conductor nucleus.

The stabilized formulations with the antioxidant combination of phenol with steric hindrance and zinc 2 mercapto toluimidazole salt offer a good thermostability at 3000 hours at a temperature of 125.degree. C. and at 240 hours at a temperature of 165.degree. C. and does not stain or decolorate the copper surface when the composition is steam vulcanized.

After the chemical depletion, residual monomer contents of 50 to 1000 ppm are achieved in a process that lasts from 0.5 to 5 hours at most.
