  • Patent number: 8109579
Abstract: An adjustment apparatus for a sneeze guard includes a support post having a mounting bar with two parallel ridges along the rear side. First and second support frames are slidably interconnected and secured to the ridges on the mounting bar in parallel relation, the outer side of first support frame facing the outer side of the second support frame. The first support plate is pivotally connected and adjustably secured in a plurality of rotational positions to the inner side of the first support frame. The first support plate includes a holder on the inner side attached to one end of a transparent pane of a sneeze guard. The second support plate is pivotally connected and adjustably secured in a plurality of rotational positions to the inner side of the second support frame. The second support plate includes a holder on the inner side attached to one end of an opposing transparent pane of a sneeze guard.

  • Patent number: 7473167
Abstract: A security module for use with a ventilation grating comprising a body, a base with a planar surface for attachment to the grating, and an outer wall extending from the base. The body has inner passageways extending from the base to the outer wall, the first portion of which extends from the base in a direction perpendicular to the base, and the second portion of which extends from the outer wall to intersect perpendicularly with the first portion within the body. The security module, when attached to a ventilation grating, prevents threading a rope-like material, through the grating, and using the make-shift rope to commit suicide by hanging, and is therefore particularly suitable for use in penal institutions, hospitals and mental health facilities.

  • Patent number: 7290782
Abstract: A trailer dolly comprising a horizontal base plate, a first pair of wheels which are fixed from rotation about a vertical axis, a second pair of wheels being rotatable around a vertical axis, and a trailer ball. The trailer dolly facilitates the loading of a trailer onto a tilt bed tow truck, including: a disabled trailer, such as a trailer with a broken or damaged axle, frozen wheel bearings, or collision damage to a wheel, axle or components thereof: and a trailer which is not fitted with a trailer jack having an attached dolly wheel. The trailer hitch ball of the trailer dolly is connected to a receiver of the trailer tongue, providing support, stability, and steerability, and allowing the trailer to be winched onto a tilt bed tow truck without damage to the trailer tongue, a trailer jack, and/or associated mechanism and wiring.

The portable communications device including an outer cover, a main circuit board assembly, a ringing transducer, a power source and a transducer power circuit. The transducer power circuit having a portion physically exposed and electrically conductive to provide contact points. The apparatus includes a substrate and a bus line mounted thereon. The bus line including a pair of conductors, one or more light emitting devices connected to the pair of conductors, and interconnection leads connected to the pair of conductors. A portion of the interconnection leads extends away from the substrate, and has remote end terminals arranged for contact with the contact points of the transducer power circuit. When power is switched on to the transducer power circuit, a ringing signal is produced.
