Abstract: In one embodiment of the present invention, there is provided an apparatus for suspending a light source such as a flashlight and amplifying the light emanating from the flashlight. The apparatus comprises a plate having a longitudinal axis, a top surface and a bottom surface. There is a means for removably retaining a fight source and a hanging means. A method for illuminating a space using the described apparatus is also provided.
Abstract: An apparatus for tightening strap members comprises a buckle member having a first means for attachment to a strap and a second means for attachment to a strap. A plurality of longitudinally spaced apart pin-receiving boreholes are provided on slidably related sections of the buckle member such that the boreholes in one section have a vernier relationship with the boreholes in another section, thus permitting a boreholes to come into alignment as the sections are slid past each other at an adjustment increment which is less than the spacing between the boreholes on either section. A method is also provided for using the assembly to tightening a strap.

Abstract: A support head for a monopod mount is disclosed which is especially useful for attachment to outdoor sporting goods such as firearms, spotting scopes, binoculars, bows and cameras. The head is formed from a base portion which attaches to the sporting good and a support leg mounting portion which pivotally attaches to the base portion. Preferably, the support leg mounting portion is provided with a quick release for the support leg and is mounted to the base portion so that it can be frictionally affixed in the desired orientation.
Abstract: The present invention provides for a game system having a generally rectangularly shaped board and a plurality of cards. The board is imprinted with indicia indicating addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The board is also imprinted with indicia indicating a first playing area, a second playing area, a third playing area, a fourth playing area, fifth playing area, a sixth playing area, a seventh playing area, and an eighth playing area. The cards are inscribed with an integer n, where n is an integer from 0 to 12. The cards are also inscribed with a mathematical symbol of +, -, .times., and .div.. In another embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a method for playing a mathematical board game. The method involves providing a board as described above with at least one erasable means for recording a score, and cards as described above. The plurality of cards are shuffled to form a deck.
