  • Patent number: 5644442
Abstract: A system to overcome the visual aberration of spherical automotive rear view mirrors, related to the distance between vehicles, requires no measurement or mathematical skills. The system includes means for visually determining the curvature of a mirror, and templates for the proper placement of etched film strips which frame a safe return target area on the mirror. This target area is an indicator of when a vehicle seen in the mirror is at a safe distance behind the vehicle with the marked mirror.

  • Patent number: 5609222
Abstract: An improved ladder leveler which is made up of inner square bar and outer square tubes which slidably move axially in relation to each other vary the degree of extension. Locking the same by the insertion of a cotterless pin through aligning holes provided the inner bar and outer walls, the outer walls of said square tubes having ladder rung brackets which are spaced to accommodate ladder rungs; the leveler being fastened to the ladder and ladder rungs locked in place by the threaded engagement of a formed threaded pin which extends through the rung brackets and secured with a hair pin to engage a stile bracket which engages the ladders stile.

  • Patent number: 5586484
Abstract: An improved expresso coffee maker comprising an upper cylindrical container 2 threadably engaged onto a lower truncated-cone container 1, said lower container having a coffee basket assembly 3 in which a cylindrical coffee holder 4 is centered with a piston 5 sliding inside, said piston has apertures 6 to allow passage of water and steam and to create differential pressure above and below the piston, which forces the piston to compress the coffee grounds during the brewing process. The water extract of the coffee grounds passes through inverted funnel 15 and it is collected into the upper cylindrical container.
