  • Patent number: 7215559
Abstract: A method and apparatus for reducing common mode voltage applied to a load by a drive, the drive including a rectifier linked between three AC supply lines and positive and negative DC buses that converts AC supply voltage to DC voltage across the DC buses and an inverter linked between the DC buses and a load, the rectifier providing a DC input voltage to the inverter wherein, during normal operation, the inverter is capable of generating maximum inverter output voltages given a specific DC bus voltage, the method comprising the steps of controlling the inverter to supply output voltages to the load where the output voltage are substantially free of common mode voltage and such that the maximum inverter output voltage is less than the maximum inverter output voltage during normal inverter operation and given a specific DC bus voltage and controlling the rectifier to convert the supply voltage to DC voltage across the DC buses and so that the DC bus voltage is boosted to a level more than greater than the peak

  • Patent number: 6637044
Abstract: A toilet trip lever assembly provides a lever arm that extends in the tank perpendicular to the tank wall. As an outer handle is rotated, it drives a stem, which in turn drives an arm inside the tank that extends parallel to the tank wall, which pushes down an end of a lever. A support holds the lever such that downward movement of that end of the lever drives the opposite end of the lever up. The opposite end of the lever is connected to a linkage to a flush valve.

  • Patent number: 6111873
Abstract: A method for managing operator services comprises the steps of: compressing respective voice calls between a public switched telephone network (PSTN) and a local area network (LAN) of telephone operator work stations into respective streams of digital voice data packets; multiplexing the respective streams of digital voice data packets; transmitting the multiplexed streams of the respective voice data packets between the PSTN and the LAN over a single digital data transmission line; demultiplexing the respective streams of the digital voice data packets transmitted over the single digital data transmission line; and, decompressing the demultiplexed streams of the digital voice data packets.

  • Patent number: 5992703
Abstract: For a medium pump (3) a mountable air pump (4) is provided. The stationary pump body (49) of pump (4) is fixedly connected to a member (8) provided for fixing the medium pump (3) to a reservoir (2). During the operating stroke a pressure chamber (50) of the air pump (4) permanently communicates with the reservoir (2) via the pump casing (15). Thereby pressure equalization is achieved. One and the same medium pump (3) can be provided with or without the air pump (4). When equipped with the air pump (4) the discharge of highly viscous media is significantly facilitated.
