Abstract: A foldable mechanism for treadmills includes two respective foldable sets and an operation bar is connected to the two foldable sets. Each foldable set has an operation member fixed to the upright frame corresponding thereto and the operation member has a groove defined in a side thereof. A periphery defining the groove includes multiple recesses. Two end plates each have a first end fixed to one of two ends of the operation bar and the other end of each end plate is pivotably connected to the foldable set corresponding thereto. An engaging member extends from the first end of each end plate and is movably inserted into the groove of the operation member. When pivoting the upright frames toward the horizontal frame of the treadmill by pivoting the operation bar, the engaging members are engaged with one of the recesses in different folded positions.

Abstract: A cylinder inlet valve for a power stapler includes a head member connected to the rear end of the barrel of the stapler and a cap movably connected between the head member and the cylinder between which a seal is connected which has a flexible portion so that when the cap is moved, the seal is removed from the cylinder and the flexible portion is extended and the sealed situation between the cap and the head member is maintained. Another seal is mounted to the neck portion of the cap with its tongue portion and connected between the neck portion and the short flange of the head member, so that the friction between the neck portion of the cap and the tongue portion is small when the cap is moved.

Abstract: A drum includes a cylindrical body having two rims engaged on the upper and lower portion. A pair of frames are engaged on the rims and each has a number of ears extended radially outward. A number of posts are secured between two rings and are engaged between the ears of the frames. The ears of the frames are fixed to the posts so as to secure the frames together and so as to secure the cylindrical body and the rims between the frames. The drum may be assembled without forming fastening holes in the cylindrical body.

Abstract: This disclosure teaches a hair curler which includes a cylindrical drum and a jaw engageable thereagainst for holding and rolling hair. The jaw is operated from a first end manually by means of a crank. An axial shaft is turnable from a second end to energize a torsion spring which subsequently turns the drum as it deenergizes. A detent and clutch control engaging and releasing of the torsion spring. After the spring is wound, this curler is affixable using one hand.
