Abstract: The invention comprises an automatic fishhook setting device wherein a lever may be engaged by the tug of a fish strike on a fishing line to release the tension of a spring. The spring will then snap the line to set the fishhook in the fish. It is possible to adjust both the spring tension and the amount of pull needed to engage the device. The device may also be mounted from a variety of fishing positions.
Abstract: The present invention comprises a means of marking the placement of holes to be drilled within a foundational sill in a more accurate and time-effective manner. The apparatus includes a pre-measured sliding placement member which further comprises a slot cut to the precise width of a foundational sill to be positioned.
Abstract: A unique and improved storage compartment for storing and positioning footwear, such as socks and pantyhose, for organized storage and retrieval within a bureau or dresser drawer.
Abstract: An improved breathing assistance ventilation tube for assisting a patient suffering from pulmonary distress and which includes a balloon cuff and evacuation means for evacuating undesired fluids from a patient's tracheal region. The invention teaches an improved evacuation apparatus and improved means for fastening anf linking the evacuation and balloon cuff means to either each other or to the ventilation tube or both.
Abstract: A game in which two or more players compete to fill a column of water by engaging a target with a fluid or solid projectile stream or a light beam. Detectors upon a target are adapted to signal a separate water pressure device in order to force water from a reservoir up into and through a transparent or translucent column. At the top of such column a detector awaits the rising column of water in order to signal its arrival and indicate the success of the player in engaging his or her respective target. The apparatus can be configured so that each player's column is filled from a separate reservoir or from a common reservoir.
Abstract: An improved apparatus for assisting a rescuer in performing safe and effective mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on a victim. The apparatus allows a range of orientations between victim and rescuer and also allows the augmentation of the rescuer's air with oxygen, even when remote from a medical facility.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for compensating for the measured variation in bearing between magnetic north as read on a compass and true north as may be determined by juxtaposition with the sun at a given time. Such apparatus and method is particularly useful in vessels or other environments in which there are either or both disturbances in the natural magnetic flux pattern of the earth and natural variations between natural magnetic and true north.
Abstract: An apparatus for carrying hand tools which comprises an adaptation for a bucket. The adaptation further comprises a bucket insert with a planar and circular top member to be positioned at or near and across the top of the bucket and a cylindrical cavity down through the center of the bucket. The circular top member is adapted with a series of holes and slots to receive tools and the cylindrical cavity is adapted to facilitate the maneuver of a person's hand. In an alternative embodiment, the insert may be permanently fixed to the bucket.
Abstract: An improved dispensing tube for a paste, cream, or gel in which a flexible or resilient dispensing tube is adapted with one or more fastening strips. The fastening strips are constructed of adequate strength and positioned along said tube so that the tube may be secured as it is rolled up from its closed towards its dispensing end.
Abstract: The invention teaches a means and apparatus which enables the safe and effective evacuation of fluids or dispensing of medication to a patient undergoing breathing assistance by means of either an endotracheal breathing tube or a tube inserted through a tracheal incision, either tube being equipped with a balloon cuff. It comprises an evacuation sheath, balloon cuff lumen, and optional lumen with a reinforced balloon cuff upper end to promote uninterrupted breathing assistance and balloon cuff operations. A plate is taught which makes these functions available to patients who have required tracheal incisions in order to insert the breathing tube.
Abstract: An apparatus to facilitate the maintenance of internal combustion engines, particularly aircraft engines, comprising a mounting apparatus, positioning rod, and pivoting arms from which a grinding, cleaning, or resurfacing tool may be mounted and operated within a single plane of rotation about the positioning rod. In the preferred embodiment of the device the mounting apparatus is made to be mounted upon a variety of common aircraft engines.
Abstract: An apparatus for facilitating the attractive and simple display of an illuminated address or sign comprising an elongated cover, which is adapted with slots for plugs; one or more illumination figures; and electrical conduction strips. The apparatus may further be adapted with mounting and weatherproof covering members for outdoor use and also with an automatic on/off switch for power conservation. The device is meant to facilitate the simple modification, installation, and interchange of any desired pattern of illuminated numbers or letters.
Abstract: An apparatus for preventing the unlocking of a deadbolt lock with a key in which clamping arms are used to grip a deadbolt knob or key on the opposite side of the door and are held in place by a retaining pin which is inserted into a cavity in the door. The use of various clamping materials and types provides a degree of versatility to the apparatus.
Abstract: An apparatus for assisting a marksman in loading ammunition into a magazine or clip generally comprising a rectangular sleeve which is adapted with an interior plunging member and an exterior serrated gripping surface.
Abstract: An improved apparatus for a game, the apparatus generally comprising a game board having concentric ring paths which intersect with radial paths. The intersections represent spaces for the placement and movement of playing pieces. Each player is assigned a group of playing pieces. The playing pieces are identical in shape and are only distinguish by color wherein one player's playing pieces are of one color and the other player's playing pieces are of a different color. In addition, a sufficient number of neutral color playing pieces are also provided. To start play, all the playing pieces are placed in a grab bag. Beginning with any starting position concentric ring, players alternate, randomly drawing playing pieces from the grab bag. The first piece is placed at the starting position and the successively drawn pieces are placed one at a time around the concentric ring on successive spaces either clockwise or counter-clockwise from the starting position.
