Abstract: A telescoping pole mount having a clamping mechanism, formed of a substantially rigid platform forming a substantially planar contact surface and having a clearance hole therethrough that is substantially crosswise to the platform contact surface; a substantially rigid arm formed with spaced-apart opposing substantially planar proximal and distal contact surfaces and being formed with a clearance hole therethrough between the opposing contact surfaces; a substantially rigid columnar rod passing through the respective clearance hole in the platform and arm, the rod being formed with threads at an end thereof adjacent to the arm; a substantially rigid threaded actuator having a substantially planar contact surface and being threadedly coupled to the threads formed at the end of the rod; and a thrust bearing between the actuator contact surface and the arm distal contact surface.
Abstract: An apparatus for removably retaining by magnetic attraction any of various modem handheld devices. The magnetic mounting apparatus provides a magnetic mounting platform having a socket-like recessed support surface surrounded by a raised lip and backed by an interface structure that secures the magnetic mounting platform assembly to an external mounting surface. A permanent magnet is disposed within a cavity that positions magnet in close proximity to the flat support surface. A separate and distinct ferromagnetic adapter plate is adhered to a device to be supported, the adapter plate being structured for accommodation by the socket-like recessed support surface for removably retaining the device by magnetic attraction to the magnetic mounting platform.
Abstract: A reconfigurable, transportable container assembly is provided. Side panels are releasably interconnected with each other and combine with a base panel, and a top panel releasably mates with the side panels. The top panel is combined with the side panels and the base panel to form a transport configuration that defines a closed, transportable, collapsible container, and that is reconfigurable to a nontransport configuration that defines a substantially stationary structure different from the transport configuration. Embodiments can include deployable wheel assemblies and extendible jack assemblies connect to the base panel.

Abstract: Two identical support cushions are flexibly joined to provide ergonomic support to a person having to perform physical activities in a supine position, often in confined spaces, such as a plumber lying on his back under a sink inside a cabinet with the lower part of the body being positioned on the room floor and the upper part of the body being positioned on the raised floor of the cabinet. The lightweight and rugged support cushions can be easily configured into a valise-like rectangular shape for easy carrying utilizing integrated handles. In addition, a plurality of lamps is enclosed within the support cushion, the lamps comprising light diffusing lenses and the lamps being spatially aligned to provide illumination with minimum shadow creation of the space in front of the supported person, such as a plumber working under a sink in a cabinet.
Abstract: A personnel decontamination and containment system is disclosed. This system includes a plurality of components positionable on a selected location for establishment of a multi-station decontamination and containment facility to decontaminate personnel and to contain contaminants collected during the decontamination process. The components can include a plurality of collapsible frame and roof assemblies, wall and roof covers, a weapons clearing assembly, a weapons storage locker, a hanging bar, a signage assembly, collapsible containment hamper assemblies, a covered dispensing assembly, a shuffle box, a multi-wipe dispensing assembly, and a transportable containment enclosure. The enclosure is shaped and sized to removably retain the system's components for transportation or the like.

Abstract: A strap-on mounting apparatus includes a chassis having a frame formed by a pair of spaced-apart brackets having flexible couplings for removably mounting the mounting apparatus on a wearer's arm or leg extremity. The chassis rotatably supports a cradle that is structured for removably mounting a hand-held portable device of a type normally carried by people on their person. The cradle is rotatable relative to the chassis between different relative orientations. For example, the cradle is rotatable relative between a normal operational orientation that is substantially cross-wise to the arm or leg extremity, and a normal stored orientation that is substantially aligned with the extremity, with the cradle passing through a continuous series of intervening rotational orientations any of which may be useful as an operational orientation.
