Abstract: A bracket assembly for adjustably and releasably affixing bracket elements to an elongated support member includes a cylindrical base, a cylindrical core, and a cylindrical cap having an orthogonal arm. The bracket assembly provides adjustable bracket positioning along the elongated support member and 360 degrees about the elongated support member diameter. The orthogonal arm provides additional 360 degree adjustable positioning for any element attached to the arm outward end. Abutting bracket assemblies on an elongated support member provide a range of orthogonal arm positions 180 degrees or less, one to the other.
Abstract: An improved rotating electric connector assembly includes a rotatable housing assembly having separate rotatable electrical contacts housed within a non-conductive cylindrical housing about a longitudinal axis. Embodiments of the rotatable housing assembly provide electrical connectivity between a two prong plug or a three prong plug on one rotatable housing assembly end and a corresponding two prong receptacle or three prong receptacle on the other rotatable housing assembly end.
Abstract: An airtight cover assembly includes a side panel folded around goods on a pallet presenting top and bottom opening, a top panel with a plurality of pouches positioned on an inside surface above a vented rigid plate, and a bottom panel encloses the pallet. Hook and loop closures secure the panel assembly. Panel inner and outer surfaces of a poly-vinyl chloride material bonded to an aluminum laminate enclose multiple layers of foam.
Abstract: A bracket assembly for securing a longitudinal support member includes a base portion and a dome portion sized and adapted to be threadably engaged around the support member, thereby securing the support member within the bracket assembly. Fasteners in the base portion affix the assembly to a planar surface. The dome portion covers the base portion fasteners when the dome portion has been threaded onto the base portion.
Abstract: A system and method of multi-pass computer controlled narrow-gap Electroslag welding allowing a faster vertical rate of rise at a much lower voltage, and that includes welding selected narrow-gaps within segments of a weld cavity between heavy plate steel workpieces and attendant control of the heat transfer depth penetration from the weld puddle to the workpieces according to a pre-determined profile resulting in a smaller heat affected zone and smaller grain structure in the weld metal.
Abstract: An automated assembly, system and method for a narrow-gap Electroslag-welded moment connection welded between horizontal beam to vertical column flanges includes vertical column doubler plates affixed to the column web and horizontal beam doubler plates affixed to the beam web with alignment of the respective webs/doubler plates to carry the moment load through the vertical support columns. An embodiment includes a radius in each horizontal beam doubler plate. The assembly, system and method is readily applicable to overdesign moment load factors.
Abstract: Disclosed are a height-adjustable inter-form concrete mold supporting system and method for in situ concrete construction. The system has a support member detachably disposed on a base plate. An inter-form truss is adjustably attached to the support member and holds formwork brackets to define concrete pour width. A plurality of like assemblages and attached formwork define concrete pour length and height of the monolithic concrete slab-on-grade foundations or flooring in situ.
Abstract: System and method for comminuting gypsum wallboard received from a series of processing hoppers and milling hoppers by discharge into an assembly including a feed hopper, a barrel and trommel screen assembly for separation and final removal of paper and non-ferrous materials from comminuted gypsum wallboard, and separate assembly for receiving and conveying processed barrel screen discharge waste and gypsum.
Abstract: An apparatus, system and method for generating electricity by using the reciprocating motion of floats caused by waves includes a plurality of cylindrical floats each traveling on a cylinder push rod. The wave motion through the floats forces hydraulic fluid in a closed loop hydraulic system into a hydraulic motor, and converts the kinetic energy of the linear float motion to rotary motion to drive electrical generators.
Abstract: Terraced structured land joint and assembly system is disclosed, and includes a plurality of ball joints, each providing monolithic anchors for a plurality of compression and tension members. Tension members reside within compression members. Compression/tension members are linked between ball joints by couplers and turnbuckles, defining structured land including planar space frames, horizontal truss members, and vertical truss members. Structural forces are transferred through the ball joints into horizontal and vertical truss members, with resultant loads transferred to the ground.
Abstract: Fastener apparatus including a self-adjusting and automatically self-leveling head separate from a threaded shank portion. An embodiment of the apparatus provides a self-leveling head portion defining an annular conical recess and lip portion sized to receive a seal. A threaded shank resides within an annular cup center of the self-leveling head and has a thread-free portion seated by the compressed seal creating a water tight seal.
Abstract: A rotating electric connection socket assembly includes a rotatable housing assembly having a plurality of non-conductive cylindrical housings nested about a longitudinal axis. Separate rotatable electrical contacts housed within the rotatable housing assembly provide electrical connectivity between a three prong plug on one rotatable housing assembly end and a three prong receptacle on the other rotatable housing assembly end.
