Abstract: A multipurpose pillow serving couple in a relaxed and comfortable when they face each other or when they are in a face-to-back position in bed. The pillow has a body with sides, ends, top and bottom with the bottom having passageways formed by the intersection of one longitudinal and two transverse channels. The channels have first and second end openings and the formed the passages are firm to prevent undue pressure on the arms when they inside the pillow. Multiple opens are available in the pillow to provide variations in positioning the arms inside the pillow.
Abstract: A panty leg attachment device, a panty garment combined with the device, and a panty/combination leg covering garment utilizing the device enables the securement of the open end of a tubular leg covering garment to a leg opening of a panty garment. The device in one embodiment is formed from a panty inner band with first and second sides, the first inner band side affixed to the panty garment inner side and the second inner band side having securing means in the form of tape segments positioned thereon. A panty outer band having first and second sides has its second side secured to the panty garment outer side and carries a scalloped decorative edge along its perimeter.
Abstract: A package for housing and protecting a folded garment has a back and two front foldable flaps. Each front foldable flap has two foldable sections, and each section has a partial side. A top extends partially along the back, covers the upper edge of the folded garment and is formed into a downwardly extending tab positioned between the folded garment and the front foldable flaps.
Abstract: A method of grading pork bellies which involves flattening the bellies to a pre-selected thickness with a pressure roller. The bellies are measured at a number of locations to establish an average thickness and thereafter selectively directed to collecting areas based on their thickness and surface area. The collected bellies are then given final grades based on their leanness and quality and moved on for further processing.

Abstract: A process of rotary knitting a tubular blank with a knitted pocket or pockets such as a heel or toe portion on a multi-feed circular knitting machine and products made by the process. The blank is preferably first knit with continuous courses of stitches on all needles, then with rotary knitting continuing on partial courses to form a pocket on one side of the blank while no other knitting on the blank is taking place. Each partial course has at its start a selected number of yarn end securing stitches such as tuck stitches, then a selected number of stitches to substantially form the partial course, and then a selected number of securing stitches at the end of the partial course, the purpose of the securing stitches being to lock in the yarn at the beginning and end of the partial course.
Abstract: A bow sight assembly for an archery bow having a hollow tubular housing within which is positioned a slidably movable piston connected to a rod contained partially within the housing and external thereof. An insert closes the open end of the tubular member and retains the rod in a preselected position within the housing. A housing support device is movably and releasably secured to the bow. The sight assembly includes first and second sight supports and a sight secured to the second sight support, the first sight support being secured to the piston, and the first and second sight supports being movably secured to each other to provide a lateral sight adjustment. An indicating scale is positioned on the external surface of the housing to provide vertical sight adjustment, and the second sight support holds a pointer for indicating a particular reading on the indicating scale.
Abstract: A flood water control system for reducing flooding formed in conjunction with multi-lane highways separated by medians wherein large holding basins are formed in the medians and flood water flowing into low land flows through directional ditches to the multi-lane highways and is thereafter transported through culverts to the holding basins. The culverts can be selectively opened and closed to control the collection of flood water in the holding basins.
Abstract: A multi-stage fluid and chemical recovery system for a textile article commercial bleaching apparatus having a plurality of bleaching tanks, a fluid and chemical supply system for providing fluid and chemicals to the bleaching tanks, a recirculation system connected to the bleaching tanks for reclaiming fluids and chemicals from the bleaching tanks after treating quantities if textile articles and for preselectively recycling the reclaimed fluids and chemicals into successive quantities of textile articles in the bleaching tanks. A control system is connected to the fluid supply system and the fluid recirculation system for initiating and controlling the introduction of new fluids and chemicals and reclaimed fluids and chemicals to the bleaching tanks so that each stage of the system operates continuously and/or simultaneously with the other stages.
Abstract: A pipe pulling device having a multiple section body portion with a substantially hollow interior, a cap engagable with a pulling device and having a threaded member extending into the body portion hollow interior, and a securing plug having a threaded conically shaped front portion suitable to cooperatively receive and secure the cap threaded member so that as the member continues to be threadably received, the plug front portion is urged into the body portion hollow interior and the body portion sections are separated and expanded to grippingly engage the pipe interior and enable the pipe to be pulled by the pulling device connected to the cap.
Abstract: A paddle ball game and method of ball control associated therewith which includes two paddles held parallel to each other and a resilient ball supported between them. Each player observes the ball's location through the transparent material used to form the paddle's ball engagement area and moves the paddle to roll the ball into the aperture in the other player's paddle. The paddles also feature a handle mounted offset from the surface of the paddle and a flexible net which covers the aperture to catch the ball after it passes through. Alternatively, an inelastic cord is also used to tether the ball to the paddle. In another embodiment, means are provided to illuminate the engagement area for play in the dark.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of compacting a plurality of flat, stacked, non-woven, cotton, cotton blend, and fibrous articles from a normal size to a greatly reduced size to form a package of such articles that saves exterior packaging, shipping, handling, and warehouse costs. The pressure and time dwell are selected to compact the stacked articles to the extent necessary to cause the desired size reduction, but not sufficient to either damage the articles or compact them to the degree that a liquid or other means is required to recover them from their compacted to their original state.
Abstract: A burial container having a base with a bottom, side walls and end walls and a lid sealably securable to the base. The lid, bottom and walls have inner and outer covers forming hollow chambers capable of being filled with granular substances and liquids for added stability, rigidity and strength. The inner and outer covers are joined at a plurality of locations to hold the covers in a fixed relationship each with the other and strengthen the walls, bottom and lid to withstand the forces exerted by the surrounding earth and water. Various configurations of junctions provide the stability, rigidity and strength needed in the base and lid container.
Abstract: An elongated circular knit tube having a central body and a self contained waistband at each end of said central body is flattened to form a double layer of fabric having two longitudinal folded edges. The body portion is severed to remove selected portions therefrom and to divide the tube into two brief blanks. Coursewise extending severed portions are aligned and subsequently sewn together to form the brief crotch and leg openings.

Abstract: A system for automatically producing pantyhose garments from elongated tubular fabric blanks, each having a toe end portion and a welt or band end portion. Randomly oriented blanks are sequentially removed from a supply reservoir, oriented in a predetermined manner, and conveyed to a positioning and transferring assembly which orients, removes creases and pleats and properly positions a pair of blanks on the clamping assemblies of a pantyhose seaming machine. The pair of clamped blanks have the welt end portions severed, and severed edges seamed by sewing instrumentalities to define the panty portion of a pantyhose garment. The pantyhose are transferred to a machine where the toe ends are closed by seaming.
