Patent number: 7133680Abstract: The invention relates to a method for allocating frequencies to base stations in a mobile telephone network, especially a method for automatically resetting frequencies already allocated in the case of non-saturated base stations and re-allocating frequencies to said base stations. Firstly, frequencies are allocated to base stations using any known prior art method. In the case where no non-saturated base station is present, a complete frequency plan is obtained. However, if some base stations are not saturated, the inventive method is carried out: the current frequency allocation is reset and a new frequency allocation is carried out automatically. A parameter, the resetting extent parameter, is used to determine to which extent the resetting method is implemented.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 2002Date of Patent: November 7, 2006Assignee: T-Mobile Deutschland GmbHInventor: Christine Crisan

Patent number: 6766971Abstract: A method and an installation for operating a system for comminuting scrap material is provided. The installation includes a supply device (1) for the scrap material to be comminuted, and a comminuting machine (2) with at least one motor-driven (2.3) rotor (2.2) which has comminuting tools (2.2.1) and is horizontally positioned in a housing (2.1) and has an ejection door (2.1.1). The inventive installation also includes drive means for controlling the power and for protecting the installation from scrap material which is difficult to comminute or which cannot be comminuted at all, such as coarse, heavy or hard parts. For optimizing the comminuting process, the values of the motor output, of the rotation speed of the rotor, of the temperature of the motor and the motor bearings and/or of the height of the scrap material flow (3) supplied to the comminuting machine (2), are inputted in a controller (4) and used to control/regulate the scrap material supply. Technical means (4.5, 4.6, 4.Type: GrantFiled: August 8, 2002Date of Patent: July 27, 2004Assignee: Metso Lindemenn GmbHInventors: August Van Der Beek, Erich Köhl, Rainer Voss, Bernhard Kock

Patent number: 6660998Abstract: The invention relates to a timing device for positioning a machine part which is moved by an actuator and a control circuit in a straight or circular path inside a housing. A timing disk or a timing ruler is used as a reference point for the positioning, wherein the timing disk or timing ruler is arranged in a beam path of a light source-sensor unit. A beam mask made of a film material is disposed between a light source and the timing disk or the timing ruler. Spacer elements which face the timing disk or timing ruler, and a positioning and mounting plane for registration with a base plate are provided. Also provided are guide means for the positioning the beam mask inside the housing in front of the light source.Type: GrantFiled: July 25, 2000Date of Patent: December 9, 2003Assignee: PWB-Ruhlatec Industrieprodukte GmbHInventor: Paul-Wilhelm Braun

Patent number: 6484353Abstract: A riding type sweeper with a rear-mounted engine and a driven sweeper roller located between the front axle and the rear axle, wherein the sweeper roller transports the dirt into a coarse dirt container disposed behind the sweeper roller, from which the fine dirt is suctioned off by a filter blower unit. The filter blower unit is arranged in the region before the rear-mounted engine in a vertically superpositioned arrangement, with the blower turbine together with the fine filter being arranged in a common box.Type: GrantFiled: May 3, 2001Date of Patent: November 26, 2002Assignee: WAP Reinigungssysteme GmbH & Co.Inventor: Arthur Rau

Patent number: 5713078Abstract: This invention provides an ear protector to prevent water from entering the ear during watersport activities like swimming, surface snorkeling or child's play in the water. It provides for waterproof ear pieces which are adhered to a head band worn either over the head and under the chin or, in combination with a viewing piece, around the front of the head to the rear of the head. While the ear pieces and viewing piece are watertight around the ears or eyes due to suction of suitable material, the band can also be tightened to further promote tightness against water.Type: GrantFiled: May 18, 1995Date of Patent: February 3, 1998Inventor: Joanne Marie DeAngelis

Patent number: 5650182Abstract: The invention relates to a barless mold closing device for injection molding machines, which absorbs the mold closing and opening forces via a C-shaped machine frame, in which plate bending is minimized by asymmetrical internal die forces and eccentric opening forces and the load on the die guides and in which it is possible to automatically compensate for non-parallelisms at the die parting line. The solution calls for the fixed die mounting plate 2 and/or the end plate 4 to be supported in two horizontal bearing axes 9, 10 and 11, 12 above and below the axis of injection 7. The lower bearing axes 10, 12 are connected to the fixed die mounting plate 2 and/or to the end plate 4 via elastically deformable components 13 in such a way that these components are connected to the elastic deformation of the machine frame 1, so that there is no angular deviation from the vertical position of the mounting surfaces 2.1, 3.1.Type: GrantFiled: June 14, 1995Date of Patent: July 22, 1997Assignee: Hemscheidt Maschinentechnik Schwerin GmbH & Co.Inventors: Klaus Fuller, Peter Siegert, Jorg Holst

Patent number: 5363681Abstract: The invention relates to a wire shaping device. State of the art: DE 39 15 784 C1 discloses a wire shaping device comprising a program controlled rotating and displacing head which carries shaping tools and on to which moves the wire arriving from a stationary wire intake device. DE 22 64 589 C3 discloses, in the context of a spiral spring winding machine, a device for simultaneously taking in and twisting the incoming wire for producing an initial tension in the spring body. One disadvantage of the known wire shaping device is the relatively limited shapes of wire which can be produced. It is an object of this invention to improve the known wire shaping device for the purpose of increasing the range of finished shapes of the wire structures.Type: GrantFiled: May 27, 1993Date of Patent: November 15, 1994Assignee: Wafios Machinenfabrik GmbH & Co.Inventors: Norbert Speck, Theodor Troster, Dietmar Sautter
