Abstract: In a display device and a repairing method therefor, the display device includes a gate line and two gate-on-array circuits arranged at two sides thereof. Each of the gate-on-array circuits includes a stage coupled to the gate line. Each the stage includes a transistor and a repair circuit. The first source/drain electrode of the transistor is coupled to the gate line, and the second source/drain electrode of the transistor is coupled to receive a clock pulse signal. The repair circuit includes a first terminal coupled to the gate electrode of the transistor, a second terminal coupled to a predetermined potential, and at least one control terminal adapted to receive at least one repair signal to pull the potential on the gate electrode of the transistor to the predetermined potential. The transistor maintains at off-state when the at least one repair signal is supplied to the repair circuit.

  • Patent number: 8255498
Abstract: A method for avoiding the IP address conflict includes the following steps. First, once the router obtains an IP address as its WAN IP address, the network bits of the WAN IP address and the network bits of an IP pool of the router are retrieved. Then, it follows to determine whether the network bits of the WAN IP address is identical to that of the IP pool, and if yes, modify the network bits of the IP pool together with a LAN IP address of the router to be different from that of the WAN IP address. After that, an instruction is transmitted to the client terminals associated with the router. Upon reception of the instruction, the client terminals replace the old IP addresses with the new IP addresses assigned from the router in accordance with Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol.

  • Patent number: 8232511
Abstract: A sensing system is adapted to sense a pointer and calculate a location of the pointer. The sensing system includes a panel, a reflective element, an image sensor and a processor connected to the image sensor. The panel has a first plane and a first area located at the first plane. The first area is quadrangular and has a first boundary, a second boundary, a third boundary and a fourth boundary connected in order. The reflective element is disposed at the first boundary and located on the first plane. A second plane of the reflective element which is a reflective mirror plane is substantially perpendicular to the first plane and mirrors the first area to form a second area. The image sensor sensing the first and the second areas is disposed at a corner at which the third boundary and the fourth boundary intersects and located on the first plane.

  • Patent number: 8149025
Abstract: An exemplary gate driving circuit is adapted for receiving an external gate power supply voltage and an external control signal, sequentially generating multiple internal shift data signal groups and thereby sequentially outputting multiple gate signals. Each of the internal shift data signal groups includes multiple sequentially-generated internal shift data signals. The gate driving circuit includes multiple gate signal generating modules. Each of the gate signal generating modules includes a voltage modulation circuit and a gate output buffer circuit. The voltage modulation circuit modulates the external gate power supply voltage according to a corresponding one of the internal shift data signal groups and the external control signal, and thereby a modulated voltage signal is obtained. The gate output buffer circuit includes a plurality of parallel-coupled output stages. The output stages output the modulated voltage signal as a part of the gate signals during the output stages being sequentially enabled.

  • Patent number: 8127929
Abstract: A paper pallet for packaging comprising: a load bearing base and a packaging protective frame, wherein the load bearing base is composed of a plurality of vertical supporting components and a plurality of horizontal supporting components. The load bearing base is composed of the vertical supporting components and the horizontal supporting components intersecting and subsequently interlocking with each other, and the packaging protective frame is composed of a plurality of side boards. Therefore, the side boards intersect and subsequently interlock with each other to form a packaging protective frame, which is inlaid at a set distance from the edge around the load bearing base to form a paper pallet for packaging. Thus, the paper pallet for packaging is formed by combining the packaging protective frame with the load bearing base to become the packaging box for delivering goods.

  • Patent number: 8024821
Abstract: A detachable connective device for toilet seat includes a base portion, a main body, a seat portion and a cover. The base portion is fitted under the main body, and the former may be detached from the latter. Therefore, the main body may be fitted to a toilet through the base portion. The seat portion is connected to the front end of the main body. A user may sit on the seat portion when using the toilet. The rear end of the cover is pivotally and coaxially connected with the main body so that the cover may rest on top of the seat portion. The base portion has two through apertures to allow fasteners to fixedly attach the base portion to the toilet. Therefore, the goal of easy installation may be achieved.

  • Patent number: 7638936
Abstract: In a plane emissive cathode structure of a field emission display having a common plane structure, a cathode plate includes a cathode substrate, and a plurality of cathode units on the cathode substrate, and the cathode unit includes an emitter layer, a gate electrode layer and a dielectric layer. The emitter layer and the gate electrode layer are disposed on a common plane of the cathode substrate and separated with each other to form an interval. The dielectric layer is formed in the interval between the emitter layer and the gate electrode layer, but not connected to the interval between the emitter layer and the gate electrode layer, so as to change the electric field distribution of the emitter layer and the gate electrode layer.
