Abstract: Enhanced Origination Services (EOS) for Toll Free (TF) telephone calls consists of uploading instructions to the SMS/800 National Database, which instructions are subsequently downloaded by Signal Control Points (SCPs) in the United States for the routing of TF telephone calls. When a caller dials a TF number, a communication switching device queries the SCP serving the caller's LATA and routes the call according to the EOS instructions for that TF number. EOS instructions route the call to a POTS number in the originating LATA using an intraLATA Carrier Identification Code. The POTS number is connected to a private gateway, which utilizes the Dialed Number Identification Service (DNIS) of the POTS number to perform a translation function, which may replace the received DNIS with the DNIS of the originally dialed TF number. The call is routed over the private network using the private network owner's database for routing instructions for the specific TF number.

Abstract: File section dividers for an expandable filing case are formed with expansive partitions having pocket panels extending from their lower edges and folded up and secured to the partitions. The pocket panels are formed with at least one linear pocket delineation seal parallel to the opposing side edges of the pocket panels. The pocket delineation seal divides the panel into a plurality of pockets which will have different sizes, depending upon the placement of the pocket delineation seal or plurality of seals. Preferably, pocket apron flaps are provided at the upper edges of the pocket panels to facilitate insertion and removal of documents and other objects into the pockets of the file section dividers. The file section dividers find their greatest utility when employed in a collapsible, portable document storage device having side panels formed into pleated accordion folds.

Abstract: An all optical fiber bit stream reader system for examining the data contents of an optical fiber involving the conversion of a temporal timing signal into a spatially located signal is provided. The invention generally comprises generating and detecting a signal indicating the presence of data, in a manner which is minimally destructive to the data. One embodiment comprises providing a piece of optical fiber that exhibits a nonlinear response through a two photon absorption process and subsequent emission of a photon corresponding to the two photon absorption process. Such a fiber could comprise a conventional doped silica fiber into which an additional dopant has been introduced. Another embodiment involves modifying the index of refraction of the cladding of the optical fiber line. This causes a fraction of the electric field or light pulse guided through the fiber (if present) to be coupled out of the fiber. Thereafter, the pulse can be detected.

Abstract: The abdominal exerciser of the present invention is an exercise device designed to work the abdominal and oblique muscle groups. The abdominal exerciser includes a sled that is supported by and slides or rolls along at least one track. The upper body support is ergonomically positioned higher than the sled, and fixed to a cross bar supported by the track. The cross bar is designed to rotate forward to simulate an abdominal exercise “crunch” motion when the knees are brought within proximity of the upper body support.

Abstract: A lamp standard for mounting in an air handling system composed of a stand having a plurality of channels wherein the channels span along the longitudinal axis of the stand and a plurality of lamp modules positioned over the channels. The lamp modules include a housing, a lamp bulb extending from the housing, and the wiring associated with the lamp modules are positioned within the channels. In use, the lamp standard can be installed within a heating, ventilation, or air conditioning (HVAC) system to minimize airborne and/or surface microorganism contaminants. The ultraviolet dosage delivered to the HVAC system can be controlled by varying the number of lamp standards, number of lamp modules coupled to the lamp standards, and spacing between the individual lamp standards.

Abstract: Provided may be a wind propelled rolling vehicle with a self-adjusting sail that may be substantially formed in a relatively small, single sheet of material, or assembled onto a standard chassis. The exemplary embodiments may utilize bushings to spread dynamic loads so as to allow the use of very light structural material such as thin sheet foam thereby forming a safe, low-mass toy vehicle capable of achieving good acceleration and rolling speed relative to a given wind force, and configurable into many themes.

Abstract: A skin treatment composition, comprising an effective combination of ingredients selected from cumin, cloves, peach kernel, olibanum, eagle wood, giant hyssop, almond, and pachira macracarpa is provided. Abstract: Exemplary embodiments provided herein may include a method and system for indicating to a user when the user has performed an improper golf swing, including a positioning portion, and an indicating portion coupled to the positioning portion, where the indicating portion is selectively positional via the positioning portion, adjacent a user to provide an indication when the user performs an improper swing.
